My Publish0x Stats: On the right track.

My Publish0x Stats: on the right track.

Publish0x is the only social media platform where I constantly analyze my views. In my new stint in Hive starting this year, I am trying to diversify my content that include other topics also apart from Hive. Still, Play2earn games in Hive dominate my content, but I guess instead of branding it as "Hive" centric content, I would like to tag it as "Play2Earn" game. This thing becomes more important when Play2earn games in Hive like Splinterland, Risingstargame, not only still functional after 5 years, but doing development/enhancement the game whereas game like Ember Sword has shut down scamming more than 200 million USD of the investor money.

I am not chasing the money on Publish0x, but keep measuring my performance on the number of views I get on Publish0x. Getting diversified and putting less Hive-centric content should give me more views on the platform, and I also observing the same in this new stint as I am constantly getting more than 10000 views. With my goal of reaching 20000 views per month, I have crossed 18K views this month. I got 18435 views as compared to the 17904 views last month. It means I have completed 90% of my target and got an increase of 531 views.

From my observation, after reaching 15000 views, getting more views on top of it is not an easy task. It requires dedication to post daily some interesting or unique content on the platform. Another thing I observed about this platform is that the content length do not play much factor on the post earning and views, something that is very different from Hive, where you will notice that most of the trending posts are definitely above 700 words or more.

As you can see from my earnings, it is $2.81 for an entire month, and frankly, it is very less. But still, many authors do post there, and for most of them, it acts as the secondary publishing site for their post, primary being their own blog platform, Medium, or Hive.

What exactly do I like about Publish0x?

With so little earning potential, still, few factors motivate me to look at my Publish0x stats or earnings as I believe it has something unique in it that other crypto platforms are missing.

No Whale votes.

When it comes to the platforms like Hive, you are upvoted by the users and monetarily value gained by you is directly dependent upon the "Staked amount" of the person upvoting you. Publish0x has a tipping system, and max tip amount is also determined by the platform. So getting whale tip is not feasible.
It is also different from a "patron-based/subscriber-based" system. So in other words, I can say that money earned in this platform is more like earning in the true sense decentralized platform.

No Circular voting.

Since you do not know who is upvoting you in Publish0x, there is no chance of circular or incentivized voting on the platform.

New Author can feature in the "popular" section.

If you are posting something unique and following the popular tags, then your post can get featured in popular content irrespective of your account age.

From my observation, I felt that tags and posts related to "investment" or current news generally do well.

Hope to see you again on month of July with June Publish0x stats, and wishing to cross 20K mark this month, though I know if it happens, then it will bea miracle.

I think its a decent site, but I don't visit it much outside of the Splinterlands challenges. I think its a decent amount of extra funds for just copying a post over. It's not that much, but it does add up over time.

Yeah, It is secondary publishing platform for most of the user.

But it's clear that if they don't vote for you, you don't win, and I suppose you'll have to let them know that you voted for them, so that they do the same.
