I wish the war and the tariff to end.

Finally, there is a hope that the war between Russia and Ukraine will come to an end with the current ceasefire. If it happens, then it will definitely be a welcome move. Russia and Ukraine both are the big countries, and peace prevailing between them will be not only good for both these countries but for the whole world as it impacts the global trade, export, and import between the countries. More importantly, it causes fear in the investors. that not only causes the downtrend of economies in the war but also to the world economies as it creates more FUD.

War is one of the factors that has an impact on the economies of the country, but another factor that also has a strong impact in the economies is the trade policies.
Current tariff policy by Trump administration is one such idea that not only caused other world economies but itself the economy of the US also as US stock market reacted negatively to these policies. Again there is hope as I learned while following the news that Trump will softens its instance on the tariff.

Is there hope in the Stock market?

Ok, there is hope or the probability of a favorable outcome on both of above but it is still not a certainty. I guess for economic development to really kick off, then it need the solid foundation for the future, not the hope. As prices are low, I think it is an opportunity to buy and have some DCA but I will not go for all in as I am not expecting 100% favorable news.

Hedge against currency devaluation.

I think most of the developed country faces currency devaluation for their currency, In the case of more uncertainity, more devaluation is expected. One of the hedge is to convert currency into USD and the easiest way to achieve this is to buy stablecoin cryptocurrency. I am not suggesting Bitcoin due to its volatility in the short term.

Investments that generally appreciate in war.

If you are following the Gold prices then I guess you already know it. Gold prices are continuously showing a positive uptrend and look like it is really a good investment in the current scenario. I wish I really has invested in the gold earlier.

Another thing I observed that real estate market is mostly unfazed by all unfavourable news and keep the upward momentum overall. So investing for your home ,shop , or a land parcel is a good deal regardless of the FUD in the market.
