Smash!!! Ten monochrome etudes from the playing ground

Round #362!

Nine photos I want to present you today, were captured on not-so-sunny day last December. We went out for a walk in the local park with my daughter, and by the end of the evening - all of a sudden - the sun kissed us, just for 5-6 minutes. I took the opportunity, unholstered my camera and clicked the button like mad, cause, huh, the sun was pretty low at the horizon, and gave some splendid shadows. There were all these tiny ice shards everywhere...

Can you count the total number of shadows here?...

Just kidding. Ofc it would be an impossible mission - like counting grains of sand on a beach. They are numerous objects here, and each ice shard is casting its own shadow. I tried to capture this sight.

Firstly I selected this photo as my entry to this round.
Then I changed my mind for the ice, which I find fascinating.
But as long as I stare at this pic, I am not sure in anything.
I love both!
Simple as that, lol.

Shadows aint that big in this certain photo.

Let me add a colour version of the photo, to entertain you. (The good thing is - it is not Monochromes community, no purists here I guess - nobody have any objections and want not to mute me).
