Greetings my friends! This post goes for 'Show me a photo (of a bird)' contest, round #219. It was a while since I joined it, and I've got a few scattered images captured during April to May. The pictures I selected for this post, I took on a bright sunny May day, when I walked to the park and for the 1st time (ever!) tested a circular polar filter. I cant say I understood fully how I should operate it ;) or have got a fancy results momentarily. Nope! But ... I've got something indeed. The colors seem to became more saturated.. but i'm not sure, hehe.

Little tit did not posed me for long. With 200mm I have to come closer, to take a decent close-up picture, which wasnt tolerated.

I made several takes, which are almost all the same - and all look nice. What was your fave capture from this selection?

As far as I understand, its main purpose is to remove glare and reflections when needed - sometimes it is useful, but I have not yet fully mastered it.

Yes, true, that is exactly why I was hooked on it and obtained to have in my arsenal. Now I will start to learn how to operate it. SOme stuff (ocean waves, tide, things behind the glass displays - you simply cannot shoot without using said filter. In some cases its a must).

Lovely to see your post and entry for this round.
I know nothing about the filters, but hope you will enjoy using this circular polar filter.
