Morning coffee ritual
Greetings, Hivers! I decided to check again the 3Speak service (my previous attempts did not perform well, haha!). Cinnamon Cup Coffee community has this 'Brew Awakening week' 7-days commenting marathon that pushed me to do this. The request was to shoot a video of my home coffee ritual, so... here we go!
(By the way, you can jump on this too! Ofc if you have one... Two days are still left to go.)
Those who follow my blog are in the know that my favourite coffee method is jezzwa. I like to drink latte and expresso too, but at home I prefer to brew coffee this way: I am in love with the process itself which became sort of a ritual to me. Well, you know.
I dont only grind and brew coffee -- I also drink it 👍 drinking together with my wife, and accompanied with some snacks -- thats how I used to enjoy it.

I often fill up our cookies home supply, and when all of a sudden we have none for our coffee, my wife comes up with something fast and easy, like these fried croutons you see in the video.
With years I've managed to get a small collection of five different-sized jezwa, but most of the time I simply use the biggest one - its capacity provides each of us with two small cups.
And of course, we have our fave cups. The shorter, dusty rose-colored cup belongs to my wife (it was given to us by a family friend 15 years ago, and came from faraway Japan). The second one - narrow and tall, blue-brown cup decorated with glaze, belongs to me. Its my godmother's present which I treasure very much, saving it only for coffee (well, sometimes I also drink wine from it).

We don't drink coffee "on the go", at least not at home - my wife and I prefer to prepare and drink coffee when we can set aside a convenient time — a time to relax, take a breath, clear our minds of the daily routine, and fully surrender to the taste of coffee and - which is even more important - to the magic of the moment. This was a tiny behind-the-scenes information about our coffee ritual.
Adding a few move visuals for you now.

If you run to grab your coffee immediately after you have finished with my post...

...I will take it as my mission completed! 😜 😜 😜
PS. After I published the post and utilezed all the coffe, I swapped to camera - could not resist the temptation to stage a few photos. I had on my desk some new arrivals to my stamps collection -- the went along with this well.

And the cat overseer of course, arrived also -- to oversee.

Arent those Victorias cancelled in Australia 150 years ago, nice? I definitely will make a separate blog about the stamps of Queen Victoria I have. The subject is too cool!

Hey @qwerrie
Happy Weekend!
Your post brightened my day. 😍
It's good to know that 3Speak works well for you; it's been ages since I last used it.
Hubby would have loved that cheesecake with a strong cup of coffee.
Your photos are tops, as usual.
I love that your jezwa had that dual function for wine. :)))
Haha! 3Speak did the job for the 1st time. Finally...
Meanwhile I took a small photosession on my windseal with said cups, two crackers and stamps -- so, I will add a few captures to my post later.
ps. I examined all the prompts of the challenge this week, and I should note - I'd love to take the part, but - haha! - not all of them were easy to take. At least, I agree, it did enhanced our coffee rituals with mindfulness. Have a great weekend, dear Milly 🙏 ...and !PIZZA

Everything yummy-looking - coffee, the tart, cups, the cezve... Yes, they say you should spell it in Turkish - cezve [dʒezˈve] - never knew.
Asi see it - the world is divided into two parts; one say 'cezve', and the other half say 'jezzwa'. I belong to the 2nd half. 😄 Cant tell who are right and who are wrong here - I just prefer it better this way. AAnyway - glad you enjoyed my bodegon, have a Hive !PIZZA and see you next time!
Hope soon I will be able to share some cats pics in your new community.
I thought it's called turka... 😄
😊
...correct - but thats only in Russian xD
:) But all words relate to Turkey. And only Greeks say "ohi" to this, and call the device μπρίκι (briki) (researching)
What a journey... "Rakwa" in the Levant, "kanaka" in Egypt. Other Arab countries -- not sure, 3 AI fought each other versions...
Thnx for educating me - nice to know! tho I probably cannot learn it (have got no associations with kanaka / rakwa...)
Сауро с джезвой прям очееь впечатляет и манит! 👍
Что такое "сауро" ? это крекер?
Елки, это "автозаполнение" Должно было быть написано макро с джезвой))
