1st snow of the season, November fungi and brief visit to my summer place (20 photo)

I had mixed feelings about the last weekend; but after all it turned out good. All of a sudden, weather changed to cold (dropped down 1-2C below zero) AND we had a massive snowdrop on Friday night - after that the sky cleared, and the sun kissed us on Saturday morning.

For the whole month our daughter was putting requests she wanted to visit our summer place, so we decided to give it a go. The first snow is a special thing, it always raise the spirits and change the world around dramatically.

Near the bridge -- surpise! - we stumbled upon the 1st snowman of the season. Ofc thats the first reacttion of the kids to the fresh snow and new season: snowmen and snowdrops.

But when I unholstered my camera to take a shot.... a very nasty, frustrating surprise followed: it turned out that I left the camera battery at home! So stupid of me... I checked that I have a spare flash card but for some reason did not check the battery - was considering it was inserted into the body. Heh... (this happens not the 1st time - maybe it is a thing many #silverbloggers are facing from time to time? lol).

The grass everywhere looked like this, covered with the first thin snow.

As I walked and observed all the frozen beauties on my way, gloomily I was thinking about the (now excessive) camera and backpack weight on my shoulders; also I slowly chewed this idea: how nice it would be to encounter some mushrooms, ofc touched with this freeze as well. And very soon it happened!

When I saw this, I immediately stop and requested my wife's smartphone. Its only thanks to her Xiaomy it was possible to make all the captures you see in this post.

This of course is a plot for #macro. I wish I had battery in my 5dm2 - macro lens already was sitting at its place. Those tiny ice crystals scattered on the surpace of ivy leave were so touchy!

I made two dozen of similar captures, all of them keep beaty for me... but lets move on, so that I can fill my post with different images, other than fungi xD

Found under the spruce some nice fungi flourishing on the cone. And no macro lens with me! damn xD

You may have noticed - the sun was already pretty low, close to horizon, when we reached the spot, so...
