THE FIRST OF IT'S KIND.

Hello everyone and welcome to this week hive naija weekly activity.I am quin.lizzy,am so happy and amazed by this week topics cause it has a lot to do with personal experiences.The fact that I went for a break for some months and am back to share and learn new experience in the hive family is really a big privilege to me.

I will be writing about my first departmental hangout in the university and how it went,to be frank,I don't do much of outdoor,so I never wanted attending our science laboratory technology departmental hangout 2023 set but when my friend both her ticket and she was feeling a bit anxious to go so I decided to accompany her since it was a day event and once in a lifetime as a freshman.

The gathering was held at nasarawa state luxury hotel in lafia,it was supposed to kick start by 12pm but it was behind schedule.We arrived at the venue by 1pm,to be frank,it was my first time going to luxury and the site was so beautiful couple with the fact that my mates and my senior in other levels were also present.

This departmental hangout was not just meant for fun but to be conversant with students in the department.It was done to also select the Mr and Mrs SLT 2023 set.Music was pleasing to the ear, musician where invited to performan and fashion parade and quize were done by the contestant.

It was indeed fun and more fun when we were asked to come out for competition,none of my mate came out but I decided to,most people were shocked by my confidence and thought I was a party type but all I wanted was fun and to enjoy the moment.After some minutes of pressure another lady also came out and then a girl passing by was added,three of us dance for three rounds and the winner was selected,one happy thing about it was that two of us shared the prize,I really had fun but with that act made a name for myself.

My video went viral and whenever someone came in contact with me and could recognize my face the were filled with smile and joy.My first departmental hangout was amazing cause I had fun,I also played games with other mates.Rain actually fell before we left the arena and some other student stayed for the night party.

I had a first time experience with my mates with fun and I enjoyed every part of it,this all wrap up to finding happiness even in the small things of life.Thanks for going through my blog.
