In love with chemistry.

Hello everyone and welcome to this week hive reachout weekly activities.I am quin.lizzy and today I would be writing about the topic "your best subject".When I saw this topic I had a flash back in my elementary days and smiled.Those days were highly competitive and was all packed with fun and love.

My best subject I would say is chemistry,even though am passionate when it comes to other subjects,like biology,I felll in love with chemistry.I have so many reasons why I liked chemistry and I will take you through my reasons,but before that I would like to define chemistry:
Chemistry is a branch of science that deals with the study of matter, it's structured, it's properties and it's uses.

Firstly,I love chemistry because of my tutor,our chemistry teacher is one in a kind.His name is Mr.Njoku,he was so passionate,God fearing, optimistic and intelligent.He made chemistry very easy and not just chemistry but other subjects he thought.He made sure that we read and study not just to pass exams but to be able to apply it to our real life, giving us practical examples and experiences for easy understanding.

Mr.Njoku is not just a teacher but also and adviser to us the student and to me he has been my mentor and inspiration,he makes me see that their is nothing that is impossible with God and hardwork,when it comes to academics seriousness is the outmost watch,let me share my experience,when I was in SS1,he gave us an assignment to learn how to recite the entire periodic table,we actually took it for granted and he punished the entire class,we swept the whole school,this actually motivated us and we worked on it.

This is how much he sees the possibility of everything,one of the things that baffles me is that,no matter the subject I bring to him to help me through he somehow knows the answer.Also during my senior secondary examination,another teacher was brought to handle the practical aspect and he did great,before I knew it I gradually loved chemistry and anything that concerns it.

Secondly, it's applicable to real life,you can see chemistry in everything just like water(H20),salt(NaCl),we were thought that it was use as preservatives and binding agent and is true cause we use it to preserve food items and also hold food together as a binding agent.Also our alkaline batteries are made up of potassium hydroxide,our class are also fun and interesting, owing to the fact that am playful,I always enjoy chemistry class.

Lastly,I love chemistry cause it's not just about theories but also calculations and I enjoy calculations cause as far as you understand the question asked and you have the correct formula you will always arrive at the correct answer.I so much love chemistry to the extend that when I was giving SLT in microbiology I was so sad but I believe theirs a reason,and am still happy cause chemistry has relationship with biology and I still come across chemistry till now.
