Honesty.

Hello everyone and welcome to this week hive Ghana weekly activities,I am @quin.lizzy and today I will be writing about the topic "non negotiable" and I will be writing about one of my value that I so much hold in high esteem, 'honesty'.

Honesty has been my priority and is something I can't negotiate for anything, it's better to be honest with me and hurt my feelings than telling me lies and when I found out breaking my trust.In same way,I try my possible best to be honest with people around me cause I feel that dishonesty breaks relationship,but to be honest you need to stand firm cause there are so many situation out there that lying seems to be the easy way out but when viewed closely it's better to be honest than be in guilt
I would list some ways which I stay grounded;

Firstly: Family upbringing;I was brought up in a way that lies were not tolerated no matter what,my parents made me feel that there is no other way than staying through to oneself,cause when you are dishonest with people around you, you personally don't feel free and your conscious will definitely haunt you,to have peace of mind it's better we stay honest and truthful,growing up and observing how my parents act,it was only natural for me to act in accordance with there believe and values.

Secondly;I feel that it pays to be honest and that makes me to continue to be honest with my dealings or in my friendship,you wouldn't like to be label as someone who is known to tell lies cause it can affect you in so many ways,even when you are speaking the truth it takes so much for people around you to belief in you,honesty pays in the sense that you can easily win people over to your self and build quality friendship cause even the smallest things we do are what define us.

Thirdly:Honesty is just the right thing to do;knowing this makes me stay honest I belief that it's the right thing to do and I should do it,cause even God's word instruct us to be honest with myself and people around me.

In addition,honesty cannot be negotiated,no matter what I try my best to stay true to myself,cause that is the first step and then being to be honest to people around me.To stay grounded, most at times we need to look back to our root and put ourselves in other shoes,then will try our best to stay grounded in our beliefs or values no matter what.
