Blue collar jobs.
Hello everyone and welcome to this week hive Ghana weekly prompt,my name is @quin.lizzy and today I will be writing about the topic"Blue color jobs"

When it comes to blue collar jobs,it means using more of the physical energy to work unlike the white collar jobs which have to do with working in the office with an air conditioner and a comfortable chair to rest on.
Most atimes the blue collar job is been looked down on because of the nature of the job and how tough it can get but what most people don't understand is that there is always dignity in labor and some blue collar job offers more pay than a person who collects it's salary at the end of a month.

I will like to share one of my experience out of many of how blue collar job is indeed important,it was indeed a sad and stressful day,my family and I were returning from my cousin wake keep program from Benue, when we were in lafia our car just stopped in the middle of the road with so many cars moving around,we were shocked but luckily for us a mechanic sighted us and immediately came to help.
He took the car and drove to his repair shop, loosed the tyre and made some adjustments. He was like a Godsent that day cause how will we have cope by ourselves if he wasn't around,I shared this to explain how helpful blue collar job can be,then imagine everybody goes for the office job then who will do our repairs and other activities.

Blue collar jobs sometimes even pay more than white collar job which you have to wait until month end to be able to have your salaries, just like yesterday that I was broke without a penny,I made a hair and had 1k which went a long way.
The fact is that white collar job will never be enough in this society of ours because of the population,we need to inculcate the spirit of blue collar job and not just wait for the government to offer us white collar job.

As youth we should stand up and do the needful, let's not look down on any job but if there any opportunity to learn let's do it with all our hearts and continue to aim for the best.

I guess you are actually right, but the issue that makes people run away from even learning this jobs are the maltreatment they get , especially in a state like lagos
This is so true....Most people actually underate blue-collar jobs.
We often forget that without all of these people around we are going nowhere.
Thanks for sharing such a honest piece.
