Newbies Task 4; Hive Tags and Tribe Tokens
Did I tell you we are on the fourth ladder already? O yes, I did🤭 Hey! Don't get it twisted, I actually meant the 4th task and I tell you this, I am learning in every stage, I hope you are too
Come on now let's ride straight to hear what the fourth task questions got for us and of course I am sure you would love to hear what my responses will be as well...Here we go!
What do you understand by tribe token and give two examples each?
Tribe tokens which can also be called community tokens are built on the Hive Blockchain, these tokens are built by the community to reward the community members, some of the ways you can earn such tokens is by posting in the community or by staking and voting these tokens.
You are not alone, however, I have got the time to release only two tokens... let's continue the ride
$ALIVE You are alive: Do you mind knowing what I think of this token? I know you do but first let's know what this token does. This particular token is a reward for the members of the Alive community. The bot is activated to tip once the Alive command is made.
You haven't told me what you think about this token! Lol! Don't tell you are still on that, okay now, I will tell you, here is what I think "having this token or even just placing the command reminds you that it's a blessing to be "ALIVE" Hehe! No time for side talks friend, let's keep moving....
What is the difference between tags and tribe tokens?
It's okay to get these two mixed up but hey! there is a huge difference. Come close let's figure it out
Tags are the labels or keywords we include at the end of our post with mostly a # at the beginning of each word, and they are meant to give you visibility for your content. When you use the right tag, your post can easily be found for curation or even in the search engine Optimization. You don't just use tags because you feel like, you use them because they are keywords in your content. For example, if you write money related content, you can use the #Money or #money tag, this will help the people who are interested in the money content to find your post.
While Tribe tokens are labels used to get rewards when posting or staking in a specific individual community. Examples of such tokens include the LOH token and the LEO token. You can as well earn a reward by using a tribe tag.
Follow through the material for buying and selling with Hive Engine, and sucessfully place a buy and sell order of LEO tokens or any Hive-engine token of your choice. showing all steps taken with screenshot.
Oh my God! This got me sweating.
I kept screaming 😭 because I was unable to access the Hive engine for this particular questions, don't really know what was wrong 😢 but I later figured out that it was my phone spec because it wasn't going through both on Hive keychain and normal browser.
Below is the screenshot of the response I was always getting.... after trying for several times, I gave up!

How come mine went through. I guess it might be network. You can still try it later again
Hmmmm! I think this is beyond network, I kept trying but it's still the same error stuff 😢
I later found out it's my phone or something because I tried using some elses phone and typed "Hive engine" from the browser and it open
I will soon upgrade 😂
