David, My Son Became A Soldier At Age 4

Greetings wonderful people of Hive and amazing community of @motherhood. I believe you are all doing well. Today's publication is about a young boy in my life name David, who became a soldier at age 4. It all started a few months ago when all I could hear from him was "mummy, I want to be a soldier" even though he is still struggling with communication, I was able to hear the word soldier from his month.

I wanted him to be sure of what he was saying, and I too wanted to be sure of what I was hearing. So I asked him "do you want to become a soldier" He nodded his head. In my mind, I laughed and I was like "what did this one know about soldiers" 😂

It was as though David suspected that I was doubting his new career,😅 he changed from watching anyhow cartoons, in fact, each time he wants to watch cartoon, he will say its a soldier cartoon or no other cartoon, there was a time his father came back from work and David rushed to welcome him telling him that he wanted to watch soldier cartoon. (David's father, my husband is a lover of cartoon movies, he has so many of them on his phone)

I too, I am a lover of cartoons but I don't like keeping them on the phone to avoid David's disturbance. His father was a bit confused, he kept on asking which one is soldier cartoon, as David did not seize to disturb him. I had to chip into their discussion to suggest a cartoon titled "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" I have been suspecting to be what David was referring to as a soldier cartoon and yes, my suggestion was correct after all. His father played it for him and David was excited watching his soldier cartoon.

The one that off me was two weeks ago, when I was using the restroom and David came knocking at the door, I asked who was at the door, he simply answered "Is me, Soldier" his reply got me saying that so this boy is serious with this soldier of a thing. You won't believe that even when he was asked what his name was, he will tell you that his name is soldier 😂
