Noble Words : Wealth is a fickle mined!

People "flash their wealth" primarily to project an image of success and high social status, often driven by a desire for validation, admiration, and to signal their power and influence within a community, even if it means displaying expensive luxury items like designer clothes, cars, or extravagant lifestyles on social media or in public. However, wealth is alwsys considered to be something that keep changing hands.

In Hindu mythology, wealth is often called "Chanchala" because it is associated with the goddess Lakshmi, who is considered to be fickle and ever-moving, signifying that wealth can come and go quickly, and should not be held onto too tightly; the word "Chanchala" itself means "restless" or "whimsical." To add on this theory, our age old Sanskrit has following words to say :

अनुभवत ददत वित्तं मान्यान्मानयत सज्जनानान्भजत|

अतिपरुषपवनविलुलितदीपशिखा चञ्चला लक्ष्मी:||

Anubhavat dadat vittam maanyaanmaanayata sajjnaanaanbhajat,
Ati-parusha - pavana - vilupta -deepshikhaa chanchalaa Lakshmi.

Anubhavat = experience, feel.
Dadat = give.
Vittam = wealth, money.
Maanyaan = honourable persons.
Maanayat = respect them, honour them.
Sajjanaanaam = noble persons.
Bhajat = worship or respect.
Ati =very.
Parusha = harsh, unkind.
Pavana = wind.
Vilulita = flickering, agitated.
Deepshikhaa = the flame of a lamp.
Chanchala = fickle minded.
Lakshmi = wealth, name of the Goddess of wealth.

It simply ststes thst, "One should utilize his wealth for honoring and serving the respectable and noble persons of the society and experience the pleasure of donating his wealth for charitable purposes because wealth is fickle and impermanent just like the flickering flame of a lamp against a harsh blowing wind".

This concept encourages a balanced approach to wealth, where one should not become overly attached to material possessions and instead use them wisely and responsibly

Flashing wealth, or openly displaying your riches, is generally considered not good because it can attract unwanted attention, potentially leading to increased risk of theft, scams, and even social alienation
