Noble Words : Virtues of Mindfullife !

There are certain crucial virtues that contribute to a fulfilling and positive life. While human being run after name fame they voluntarily stray away from living a mindful life. Our ancient Sanskrit highlighted these virtues which is better than other and allow a person to live mindfully. It says :

न दानतुल्यं धनमन्यदस्ति न सत्य तुल्यं वृतमन्यदस्ति |
न शीलतुल्यं शुभमन्यदस्ति न क्षान्ति तुल्यं हितमन्यदस्ति |

Na daanatulyam dhanamanyadasti na satya tulyam vrutamanyadasti.
Na sheelatulyam shubhamanyadasti na kshaanti tulym hitamanyadasti.

Na = not.
Daan = donation,
Tulyam = equal to, comparable to
Dhanamanyadasti = Dhana + manyat + asti.
Dhana = money, wealth.
Manyat = regarded as, considered as.
Asti = is.
Satya = truth.
Vruta = any righteous activity voluntarily chosen for compliance.
Sheela = good moral character.
Shubha = auspicious, virtuous.
Kshaanti = patience, tolerance.
Hita = beneficial, in the interest of.

i.e. No other use of wealth is comparable to donating the wealth for charitable purposes, and no other voluntary righteous behaviour is comparable to truthfulness. No other virtue is comparable to having a good moral character, and no other qualities are comparable to patience and tolerance.

Donations, whether financial or of time, can provide essential support to individuals and communities facing hardship, such as access to food, shelter, education, or medical care. Truthfulness promotes a sense of personal and professional integrity, contributing to a positive reputation and ethical decision-making. Patience allows individuals to better cope with setbacks and challenges, fostering resilience and perseverance in the face of adversity. When faced with difficult situations, patience allows for more thoughtful decision-making, avoiding impulsive actions that can lead to negative consequences.

The modern lifestyle is just opposite to these while people hesitate to donate they tend to be right but they never foster truthfullness, likewise, they lack the patience and tolerance and alwsys find themselves in rush. These are not a sign of mindful living.
