Noble Words : The association with scholars is fruitful .

Our association of people is fundamental to our mental and emotional well being. A Strong social networks of intelligent provide support during our difficult times. Such association of people reduce feelings of isolation, and increase overall happiness and life satisfaction. This is why it is always recommended to surround ourself with intelligent people. Whose mindset and thought process may trigger good things in life. Highlighting the importance of our surrounding, Sanskrit says ;

अविद्वानपि भूपालो विद्यावृद्धोपिसेवया |

पराश्रियमवाप्नोति जलासन्नतरुर्यथा ||

Avidvaanapi bhoopaalo vidyaavruddhopisevayaa.
Paraashriyamavaapnoti jalaasannataruryathaa.

Avidvaanapi = avidvaan + api.
Avidvaan = a person who is not learned.
Api = even.
Bhoopalo = a king or a ruler of a country.
Vidyavrudhopasevayaa = vidyaavruddha +
upisevayaa
Vidyavruddha = highly learned persons.
Upaisevayaa = devoted to.
Parashriyamavaapnoti = Paraashriyam + avaapnoti.
Paraashriyam = happiness and glory achieved through others.
Avaapnoti = achieves, gets
Jalasanaataruryathaa = Jalaasanna + taruh + yathaa.
Jalaasanna = situated near a water body.
Taruh = tree
Yathaa = for instance, like a (comparison).

i.e. Even if a king or ruler is not a scholar, if he keeps company with eminent scholars and shows them due respect, he too attains fame and prosperity through them. Just as a tree growing near a water source gets nourishment.

The truth of this quote is borne out by the greatness of the Mughal emperor Akbar. While not a scholar himself, his court was staffed by ministers with expertise in various disciplines, making Akbar's reign considered the greatest. Through this association of great minds his reign is termed as best and he was called as 'Akbar the Great'. Interacting with knowledgeable individuals provides opportunities to gather extraordinary knowledge, learn new skills, and understand complex topics more quickly than learning alone.

The positive presence of scholars makes the environment enlightening and inspiring, which is beneficial for everyone.
