Noble Words : Path to Heaven or Hell !

I often see people always talking about "hell or heaven". This is the concept of an afterlife, with rewards and punishments based on earthly actions, can create a sense of moral obligation and fear of the unknown. Furthermore, religious teachings, particularly those emphasizing judgment and eternal consequences, can instill a deep-seated fear of Hell and a desire for Heaven. It is said people with good deeds get to heaven while all the misdeeds people goes to hell for punishment.

Our ancient Sanskrit has following to say :

विदेशेषु धनं विद्या व्यशनेषु धनं मतिः |

परलोके धनं धर्मः शीलं सर्वत्र वै धनम ||

Videsheshu Dhanam Vidyaa Vyashaneshu Dhanam Matih.
Paraloke Dhanam Dharmahh Sheelam sarvatra wai Dhanam.

Videsh = foreign countries.
Dhan = riches.
Vidyaa = learning
Vyasana = addiction to vices eg. gambling, alcoholism etc.
Mati = intelligence, presence of mind to get out of a tricky situation successfully.
Parlok = the other world (heaven / hell)
Sheela = righteous behaviour, good conduct.
Sarvatra = every where.

i.e. In foreign countries the real wealth of a person is his being learned, for a person addicted to vices (like gambling, alcoholism etc) presence of mind is the real wealth, and in 'Parlok' (other world after death) the wealth is 'Dharma' ('Punya' earned during the lifetime on the Earth) , whereas righteous behaviour is the real wealth in other situations every where.

In our religion, there is a concept of life after death according to which the "Aatmaa' (soul) of a dead person departs to either "Swarga' (heaven) or "Narak' (hell). These two were collectively called as "Parlok' (the other world). If the person has followed the tenets of 'Dharma' during his lifetime, his afterlife is comfortable in 'Swarga' due to the 'Punya' (a sort of reward for righteousness given by God) earned by him, akin to riches on the Earth.

Our intelligence and presence of mind is crucial for survival, likewise the good deeds done by us on this life will ensure a smooth passage to the next birth. Else we have to suffer a lot in hell. Keep the righteousness act to get a fruitfull result.
