Noble Words : Guided by a moral compass !

There are very few "noble people" in the world. There are certain specific qualities that distinguish a 'noble' personal from rest of the people. A "noble person" in society is generally someone who embodies high moral principles, integrity, and a commitment to ethical behavior. They are often seen as individuals who strive to make a positive impact on their community and the world around them. People always remember them as someone who carry out acts of kindness, generosity, and a willingness to help others, even when it is not personally convenient or beneficial.
But there are many notable qualities in them that keep them stand apart in the crowd of people. To highlight the various qualities of these people, Sanskrit has following to say ;

षड्गुणाः पुरुषेणेह वक्तव्या न कदचनः |

सत्यं दानं अनालस्यं अनुसूया क्षमा धृतिः ||

Shadgunaah purusheneha vaktavyaa na kadaachana.
satyam daanam anaalasyam anusooyaa kshamaa dhrutih.

Shadgunaah = six virtues.
Purusheneha = Purushena + iha.
Purushena = of a person.
Iha = here, in the society..
Vaktavyaa = to be spoken about.
Na kadaachana = never.
Satyam = truth.
Daanam = charity.
Anaalasyam = active not being lazy.
Anusooyaa = not being envious.
Kshamaa = forgiveness.
Dhrutih = self control, firmness.

i.e. Noble and righteous persons endowed with these six virtues, namely truthfulness, philanthropy, energetic, not being envious, forgiveness and firmness. They never brag about these to others in the society.

The definition of a noble person depends on the context. It can refer to someone with exceptional moral qualities or someone of high social standing. They were defined with above 6 qualities. They are often seen as role models for ethical behavior, embodying virtues like honesty, courage, and compassion. More importantly, a Noble persons always abstain themselves from self-praise and never publicise whatever philanthropic work they do for the society. This is what has been indirectly stated in the Sanskrit verses.
