Be Social - Live a life worth remembering.
Our life has been continously changing. The daily technological innovation and it's quick adaption in the society is changing our way of looking at everything. To consider an example, while we were busy in our social media platform on mobile devices, we are missing the need to socialising in real. Yesterday, I had a conversation with my Dad and he got too excited telling about his childhood days. He told me many things especially how they used to spend their evenings. They used to play some kind of or went to a parks with parents to meet people of different houses. It was like a little small family in every lane. Now if we look at present scenario, we are missing on socialising. However it is very important for a meaningful life.
While explaining the needs and his life he took me to the nearby temple. (above picture). It has lush green grasses and many people sitting and talking with each other. Listening to him lead me to understand various aspect of leading a social life. Socializing is important in today's life because it can have many benefits. It helps us in improving our life in different ways. Here are some of the advantages of socialising i understood talking to him :
1.) Socializing can improve our mood, make us feel happier, and help us maintain better mental health. It can also help reduce stress levels, which can lower blood pressure.
2.) Socializing can help us feel welcome, secure, and connected with others, whether it's friends, family, or colleagues.
3.) Positive social interactions can boost self-esteem and self-worth, which can then improve the quality of our relationships.
4.) Socializing can help us develop the skills we need to make and maintain positive interactions with others, which can be important for carrying out everyday tasks and sustaining friendships.
5.) Socializing can help keep our brain sharp by encouraging meaningful conversations, talking, and listening. It may also lower your risk of developing conditions like dementia.
6.) Socializing can help us enjoy our life more, maintain better health, and even live longer. When people socialize, they tend to be more active, whether it's going for a walk with a friend or having a gym buddy, or even just talking over coffee.
With so many benefits, it is hard to ignore the social life. However , we need to bring in the change in ourself. We need to go out of the digital world and move towards leading a real life. It sounds easy but people gets too addicted to their devices.
