The Healthcare System Of My Country 🩺🩺🥼🥼…
When we talk about the functionality and productivity of a system or that of a particular country, a lot of minor and major factors which many people, especially those who we consider our leaders take for granted and also handle with levity are actually the sustaining blocks that keeps and enhances the overall performance and productivity of the country. THE HEALTHCARE SYSTEM is that one particular aspect of those factors i will be talking more broadly about today, simply because it is one of the major things that needs to be improved and taken seriously by our government…
The poor healthcare system we have over here is one of the major reasons why many of us over here immigrate overseas. When we talk about areas that needs to be fully equipped and improved to the highest level, The healthcare sector is that one area that needs such attention and support, and because this particular area isn’t taken seriously by our so called government, many people choose to immigrate to a different country, mainly because what is taken for granted over here is of utmost concern and major importance in the country they plan to settle down into…
I am writing this post with a lot of pain in pain in my heart, i just couldn’t overlook the topic when i sighted it, i just had to jump in on it because i want my country to do better in the aspects of the healthcare system, if only we had the best healthcare system and facilities, we won’t be having so many problems in our country today, at-least we will be able to retain some of our citizens who choose to immigrate overseas because of the lack of good healthcare facilities and also reduce the number of lives we lose to poor healthcare facilities…
Imagine in a non-pandemic situation and you rush into a hospital with a patient who is battling with life and death, and on getting to the hospital, the news reaching you who happen to be a relative of the patient is that ”there is no more bed or room” to accommodate the patient and that he or she should be taken to another facility for treatment. For goodness sake, who does that to an emergency patient, the least they can do right then is to stabilize the patient for the main time and probably transfer him or her later on to a different facility, but then they always have to turn down emergency patients with silly excuses like no more beds, rooms or with any other silly reasons. This is not what is expected of any health care system in a country, i thought what matters most is life, but over here rules matter most…
RATING THE HEALTHCARE SYSTEM OF MY COUNTRY…
If i am to rate the health care system of my country, especially based on what I’ve seen and heard about it both in the past and now, i will be rating the healthcare system of my country a 5 or 6 out of 10. If i am to rate it based on the facilities here in my state, it will be a 5 out of 10 and if it’s by the facilities we have in each state, i will be rating it a 6 out of 10, which means we have more work to do in this area than in any other because if this continues, we will be losing more of our people to immigration…
I know the financial aspect of any quality healthcare system is not something a single man can chest, and that is why we have our governments and the World Health Organization to support us in this initiative. The W.H.O is a body that place major importance on the health of every citizen of each country. I don’t think a quality healthcare system can be done alone, but then there are some big men in this particular part of my country who can chest the bills and resources to erect a quality healthcare facility in the community and country at large, but instead of them to help the healthcare sector, they chose to rather spend their money on the acquisition of numerous irrelevant things…
There are some who supports this notion with funds and resources in the shadows, but due to the corrupt leaders we have here we end up seeing nothing and therefore we keep going back in the health sector area…
In summary, I think the best innovative approach that would improve our access to the quality healthcare system in our country or communities is a peaceful protest. Oh yeah, read that again, i said a peaceful protest and just a mass protest. A peaceful protest consists of a small number of people along with a leader, these people become the voice of the masses, they write a letter to the government of each state seeking their audience, and once a meeting is scheduled we allow the elected representatives talk about how to make things better and how in any way we can contribute to it to make everything work smoothly. This is the best approach. If you can’t fight them, then we beg them for the sake of our lives…
If at the end of the day we get played for a fool, we have no option than to do what we always do; mass protest and for those who can afford to fly out of the country, we pack our bags and leave, never to return home again…
In conclusion, if we keep losing our people to immigration because of a problem like poor health care facilities, in no time will we be reduced to the barest minimum. I just hope all gets better with time, we can only pray and hope for a better country…
@justfavour, @burlarj you should check out this initiative, and don’t forget to subscribe to the community. I am sure you both would have a lot to say about the healthcare system of our country…

Ahahahh nice write up.
But the peaceful protest got me laughing 🤣🤣. Funny but true to some extent, because I think that's the only language they understand.
