NO SIGNIFICANT CHANGES…
The initial plan has always been to gain admission into a university and not a polytechnic. But as you all know God work in mysterious ways, and one of the mysterious ways he worked earlier this year was me gaining admission into a federal polytechnic, FPI is not just an ordinary polytechnic, it is one of the best polytechnics in Nigeria. Honestly, i am happy i came here, apart from the stress and the troublesome lecturers, i love my school so much, and i am happy they didn’t turn me down when i chose them as my choice of school many months ago…
If only everything went as planned, by now I should be almost done with my five years course in Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH) or Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE). The initial plan was to study Medical laboratory Science in any of these schools after graduation, but then everything fell through and i was compelled to settle for what was available, which was a polytechnic…
Since the universities have chosen not to accept me, I decided to take my chances with the best polytechnic in Nigeria, and that was how i got admitted into the Federal polytechnic I***o… Guess what guys? I am now a 200 level student, and in just 8 - 10 months i will be done with my 2 years program…
IF I WENT TO A DIFFERENT POLYTECHNIC…
Honestly, if i had gone to a different polytechnic, nothing would have changed. My life will still literally be the same. Regarding the friends i have now, even if i went to a different school, i would have still made friends with some of my course-mates, no doubt about that. My life won’t be affected in any way. Making friends in the tertiary institution is normal. In tertiary institutions, you will see both the good and bad sides of people, whatever you choose to do is all up to you….
Since I gained admission into the tertiary institution, i have just 3 people in my click, plus me makes it a group of 4..
In my click there are three guys and one girl. The funniest thing about my click is that the closeness between each and everyone of us differs, but during examination we are mostly one big happy family. The truth is that i might not have been blessed with such a bond in other polytechnics…
I don’t think my life would now in my present school and the one in another school would have any significant differences. It will still be the same. The same classes, friends and many more. The same lessons I learned here is what I will still learn if i had attended another tertiary institution…

In summary, if i had attended a different tertiary institution, i would still be where i am today, no doubt. The only difference will be the distance between my home and my school…
In conclusion, it is normal to meet different people in school, some of these people will either make your journey lively or make it difficult, at the end of the day, you are to choose who you want in your life, no one can make that decision for you…
