3 Weeks to Exams and I’m Blank
Hello everyone! This is my very first time posting in this community, and I just want to say I feel kind of excited and also hopeful. I’ve seen a few posts here before, and it seems like a safe space where people are honest and supportive, so I thought—why not give it a try?
I want to share something with you all, and honestly, I don’t even know if it’s become my “lifestyle” or if I’m just going through a phase. But I need help. I need advice. I need people who’ve maybe felt like this before to share what worked for them, because I feel like I’m running out of ideas.
So… my semester exam is in 3 weeks, and I cannot bring myself to study. Like, at all. It’s not even funny. It’s unlike me, because I’ve always been the type to at least try and get things done ahead of time. But this semester? Everything feels different. I just feel so off. I’ve tried different study hacks, like the-putting your legs in water method, waking up early, going to the library, watching videos on YouTube, even switching my environment—but nothing is working. I’ll sit in front of my books and just zone out.
Sometimes I wonder if it’s burnout. Or maybe I’m just too used to procrastinating now that it’s become a habit? I don’t even feel the usual fear or panic that used to push me to get up and do the work. And that’s scary, because I know these exams are important. I want to do well… I just can’t seem to push myself.
Has anyone else ever felt like this? What helped you snap out of it? Do you have any tips or habits that worked for you when you were in a slump like this?
Also, if anyone’s been through a lifestyle shift—maybe unknowingly—like going from being motivated and organized to feeling so scattered and drained, how did you deal with it? Did you try to force your way out or just accept it and ease your way back?
Anyway, thanks for reading. I really appreciate any thoughts, advice, or encouragement. Maybe writing this out is the first step to getting back on track.
Looking forward to hearing from you all!
A very confused student trying to figure it out😔😌😏

That happen to me during college 🫠. And to be honest, I didn't do anything to solve it. I embrace the laziness and seriously, i'm regretting it hard rn. I finish college but, my grades is not that good. But for you, you really need to do something about that or you'll regret it later. Maybe you need some kind of motivation to change. I hope you can solve this problem while it's still, early. Ah, why not put away your phone or any distraction away from you, like even every little thing. Good luck!
Alright
Thank you so much I will do as much.
Cause I wouldn’t want to regret.
So sorry you had to go through that.
