Alchemy - Walkthrough in the making of a True Alchemical Rosemary Elixir

We recently unpacked my Laboratory Equipment after it had been in retirement throughout the last several tumultuous years. I had been practicing Laboratory Alchemy several years throughout 2019-2021, but then stopped due to Life deciding to put me into the Flask.

About a month ago, Iulia & Myself began once again bringing the Laboratory back to Life.

I wish to share with you our first completed Project. A True Elixir of Rosemary.

In which the 3 Essentials of the Plant have been separated, purified & finally recombined.

There are a lot of Alchemists on the web doing so called Spagyric Tinctures, which are tremendously valuable medicinally, but they are not entirely true alchemical products if one goes by the strictest definition of Alchemy. These are common tinctures, which only differ from your standard tincture in that after tincturing the plant matter is filtered, burned & the ashes are leeched with distilled water, to obtain the mineral salts which are then crystallized through evaporation & added back to the tincture.

A True Elixir made according to Alchemical Philosophy, goes further than this.
Here the 3 fundamental Principles that constitute the Plant are purified to the highest order & recombined. This is done by first taking your plant of choice & distilling it to obtain only the pure sulfur (essential oil).

In our Case we decided to trim down the big Rosemary Bush growing on our property

Then you want to either ferment the leftover plant material to obtain it's pure spirit (alcohol) by distilling it until you are left with as pure of an alcohol as possible or in my case I actually distilled a spagyric tincture of rosemary I had made in 2020 & matured up to now, so as to obtain its pure alcohol.

Then Finally the leftover plant matter is burned to a fine white ash, the ashes are poured into distilled water, then filtered & the resulting solution is then gently evaporated to crystallize the purified body (salts).

The Essential oil (Soul/Sulfur) is then recombined with the Alcohol (Spirit/Mind) & finally the salts (Purified Body) are poured into it.

This is when the Magic Happens, once everything is wed together, one leaves the sealed flask to digest in a warm spot ideally 37-40°C. For this I built an incubation box that is made of styrofoam, in which I poured some sand at the bottom & placed a small heating mat & covered again in a small layer of sand.

The solution of Essential Oil & Alcohol was initially pretty much colorless & transparent. But within a couple of weeks of incubation, the salts slowly begin to react with the essential oils & the whole thing turned a beautiful golden yellow color.

This is now medicine for soul, mind & body, but most importantly it is an initiatory tool that when consumed will enable the Consciousness of Rosemary to interface with the Consciousness of the one ingesting it. Allowing lessons to be learned that are unique to this precious herb.

Considered a solar herb, it activates & stimulates the pineal gland, which corresponds to the crown chakra. It stimulates & heals the heart as in the physical organ & It corresponds to the archetype of Awareness, bringing greater clarity & helping to re-calibrate this aspect within oneself. These are the domains one can expect the deepest resonance to this medicine. But a plant is a complex being it is not just entirely Solar, like us Humans they have all archetypes within themselves, just that some are more dominant in one or two.

This exact process can be done for every plant/herb/flower, although it is easiest to work with plants that yield their essential oil easily & abundantly. Very High yielding plants might yield 1-3% of their weight as essential oil. Usually this number is below 1% though. Tree Resins can also be worked with in the same manner, they are the most abundant in essential oil, yielding easily up to 10% of their weight in essential oil.

Due to limited bandwith & internet, I did not upload it again all on DTube, although I initially wanted to.
