Onchain Sarcasm #47 - Mint, Web3, NFTs and Humble Tractors
Let's start the weekend with mint related sarcasm! Do you know why a crypto investor brough mint to the blockchain conference? Because he wanted to keep his portfolio fresh!
Now let's move from dad jokes to an innovative blockchain with a focus on NFTs! Mint is a layer2 network designed to connect global consumers with NFTs. It operates on the Optimism Superchain, which enables efficient, low-cost transactions, and hype!
By leveraging this technology, Mint Blockchain aims to seamlessly bridge the gap between traditional Web2 platforms and the decentralized Web3 ecosystem. The project is focused on making NFT transactions more accessible while integrating artificial intelligence into its framework.
I think about freshness when I hear Mint, but also about the $MINT airdrop that I wasn't eligible! Not the best airdrop hunting skills in here, probably because I faded away NFTs on mainnet for a long period of time!
The native token of the network has a total supply of 1 billion tokens, and many NFT OGs received a nice airdrop. The checker was very nice, and took away a bit of the sourness I developed when I seen I missed another drop!
I've been immersed in the Web3 space for over 1,600 days, navigating day and night across the ever-evolving world of blockchain and decentralized technologies. Throughout this journey, I’ve witnessed the explosive growth of NFTs, DeFi, and DAOs first-hand.
My most memorable moment? Minting my very first NFT... one that was truly personal. It wasn’t just any digital asset... it was my own hand-drawn Humble Tractor. There was something incredibly special about taking my own artwork and immortalizing it on-chain, permanently securing it within the decentralized fabric of Web3.
That moment wasn’t just about minting an NFT, it was about proving to myself that this technology could empower creativity, ownership, and innovation in ways I had only imagined before. PVM turned into a Chad!
From that first mint to today, my Web3 journey has been filled with exploration, learning, and an unshakable belief in the potential of blockchain to reshape the internet as we know it.
I minted other NFTs, received some, but my collection expanded on layer2 chains. Mainnet was expensive back then, and gwei can play tricks even in "modern" days.
Let's just assume Vitalik had a girlfriend for the sake of the joke and tell me why she dumped him! If you said "because every time he tried to make a move, gas was too high!" then you're a winner!
Are NFTs still a thing in 2025? Oh, absolutely! There are as hot as avocado toast, the questionable AI-generated art, and Elon Musk tweets about Dogecoin. The hype has calmed down a bit since the wild days of 2021, when people were spending six figures on pixelated JPEGs of rocks.
However, NFTs didn’t disappear! The non fungible tokens just evolved. In 2025, they’re everywhere and we don't always know! NFTs are now integrated in ticketing, gaming, real estate, digital identity… and even grandma’s knitting club probably has a tokenized membership system by now.
And let’s not forget Donald Trump, who dropped multiple NFT collections in the past and a bag of pump&dump memecoins! Meanwhile, Vitalik is still out there trying to solve the eternal crisis of high gas fees, probably wearing another shirt that looks like it was minted on-chain.
I have about 3000 NFTs across multiple chains, and only 13 of them on Ethereum Mainnet. The estimated value s 0.118 $ETH, and my Snoop Doog from For The People is the highest valued!
Was a nice journey and a blast through heyday memories, but still pissed off I missed the $MINT airdrop. I will fade away my disappointment, and hope the chain will bring some hot stuff in the future!
Did you know that beyond its role in facilitating transactions, Mint Blockchain is committed to integrating NFTs with AI, positioning itself as an innovative player in the decentralized ecosystem?
Did you know that Snoop Dogg and Cameron Diaz were at the same school? Before he was rolling deep in the rap game he was roaming the Long Beach Polytechnic High School hallways. Cameron has even admitted in interviews that she might have bought some… let’s say “herbal refreshments” from Snoop back in the days!
But Snoop wasn’t just your average high school student! He was already a businessman, long before rap made him a household name. While most kids were stressing over algebra, he was out there securing the bag.
Fast forward to today, and he’s the definition of an OG. He’s done it all! He's an OG in music, movies, NFT drops, Web3 projects, esports, and even has a cereal brand! Fancy some Snoop Loopz?
He even done a cooking show with Martha Stewart. If there’s a way to turn something into a business, best believe Snoop is already ten steps ahead. All hail Snoop... a true OG, before being an OG was even a thing. Bow wow wow, yippy yo, yippy yay!
