[Holozing] Award ... For Bravery

Zingtober 2025 — We’re Back with a buck! Excited to announce the return of Zingtober, our annual art challenge inspired by Inktober!

New creature reveal is still in the works, but the event kicks off with fresh energy and a more relaxed format this year

Maybe you don't know but last years Holozing Inktober challenge went above and beyond and ended up writing a novel based on the prompts.

Holozyn had built a kingdom of ice on the frozen tundra, shaping snow domes and frost spires… until he met another holodeer. Their antlers locked, ready to fight, but the other buck was running, not challenging him.

Suddenly, an ancient volcano erupted, sending fire across the plains and melting Holozyn’s icy realm. Panic swept the animals, but Holozyn felt a new power stir—his fur shifting from icy blue to molten lava.

He connected with the volcano, calming its fury, and leapt into the heart of the fire. The other beasts watched in awe: Holozyn wasn’t burning... he was absorbing the flames, his fur glowing brighter, turning fear into hope.

The flames got smaller and smaller ... until only small sparks remained! In the middle of the burned tundra was Holozyn... standing tall and bright!

The young holodeer was different... he was awarded the ultimate gift... the life magic! The award was gained by putting the others on the first place... and willing to sacrifice to save the critters!

Holozyn was now the true king, with a shiny crown and a living flame on his chest. He proved all that life needs to be enjoyed!
