Sarcasm Sunday - Football Bonanza At Euro 2024 And Copa America

Germany was the host of the 2024 tournament, and the winner will later compete in the 2025 CONMEBOL–UEFA Cup of Champions against the 2024 Copa América winner. With that being said... we will have Spain v Argentina!

EURO 2024 was the first tournament with 24 teams, and Georgia was the only team making it's European Championship finals debut.

They did amazing, playing top football and going out of the group! Spain was too strong for them but we all enjoyed the underdog story!

Spain's done a great job so far, winning all 4 games and scoring x goals. Germany looked strong and confident, with Musiala and Havertz bossing the game. England was crap and I don't think is coming home!

My pre-tournament plan was to watch as many matches as possible, and seen them all so far! There's only four games left and I am confident I will add another tournament with 100% view ratio to my CV!

The first major tournament I've watched was France 1998, and since the 2000 Euro I've seen all matches from both European Championships and World Cups! I am building a legacy! Even Albart the teddy bear is proud of my achievements!

Another reason to watch this edition is that Romania finally qualified! The third reason is… fantastic football. I am a fan of it and always have leagues with my frens’ and compete to see who's the best. I created leagues and linked the Metaverse with IRL sports! I enjoyed watching Romania's 3-0 win against Ukraine, as much I enjoyed their last win at a major tournament. That was 24 years ago, when we beat England 3-2 and created a big upset. Unfortunately, the Netherlands were hard to crack for us and we suffered a heavy defeat.

England reached the later stages with a poor game, luck and no strategy! Will Bellingham and Kane write their name in the history book? Nop... maybe in 2028!

The football was great, the crowds were amazing, and this tournament remembered me the beauty of major tournaments.

The winter World Cup in Qatar was poor, and left a sour taste in my mouth. Half empty stadiums, no alcohol for fans and major issues about the Human Rights.

Germany brought back the joy of football, and beer in the stands! The "Beer War" was as entertaining as the duels on the green, with each country having strong entries.

So far San Miguel was better than Peroni, and 1664 topped Stella Artois. Do you fancy a Carling in the final or Heineken?

Watching all the games at the Euro was challenging, but UTC times helped a lot. Was not that easy to follow the Copa America, but seen at least a dozen of games as well. It's weird to see Brazil and Argentina showing-off on soccer fields!

This routine is draining me out, but I can't say no to a good match! Argentina struggled with Colombia but Lautaro made it happen!
