Tabanus autumnalis.
All friends in the Nature Observer community, welcome to meet again in this beloved community, how are you all friends, I hope today will be a very enjoyable day.
Today I am again sharing observations about one of the interesting insect species that I discovered today. This insect is Tabanus autumnalis. In Indonesia, this species is usually called horse fly.
This blood-sucking species is often found in cows and horses, some say this species comes from mosquitoes, others say it comes from flies.
Below are two pictures of what you can see of this species. Judging from the eyeballs, it is very interesting, even though the wings and body are exactly the same as the wings and body of a fly, the difference is that this species has a body that is bigger than a fly's body.
