Utilizing my storage space

I never was a very organized person, but when I got married, I had no choice but to become organized.

My wife is a pain in the neck when it comes to anyone around her being scattered and not well organized. We fought multiple times before I had to bow to her nag.

Yeah! I said, "Is it to start arranging my things and make sure they are well organized. OK, I'll do that".

So, it started with clothing, my wife loves clothes, and I can count the number of clothes she has in her wardrobe. We share one wardrobe with 9 compartments, and out of the 9 compartments, she left just only for me. See how wicked she is. She expects me to manage that one compartment and not use floor space to keep my clothes, and she still complains about dumping my clothes anywhere. When I didn't know what else to do, I had to apply a little violence.

I broke one of the compartments, and we had to call a carpenter to fix it. And I told him not to fix the broken board, and only to put a hanger. So, I was left with one compartment that was spacious enough for folded clothes and a hanger, that way I was able to fold enough clothes and still hang my suits, though I still had few clothes that couldn't get a space in the wardrobe, but I folded them in a box and put it at the top of the wardrobe.

Also, when it comes to books, I'm the reading type and I keep old books. No matter how big a book rack is, I don't think it can accommodate all the books I have in my house, my wife has always threatened to burn them because it annoys her when she sees books scattered around the house, but I didn't allow her. All did was get a few bag packs and use them for my old books and use the big enough book rack for the new books.

And most times, I declutter, go through my clothes and books, and give out the old ones to create more space.
