Some Habits that Allows Sicknesses.
There are many causes of illnesses and sicknesses, many of these causes are our doings, caused by how we take care of our body.
I used to fall sick once every semester in school and at a point it felt normal: it was mostly during or after examinations. I thought it was normal, it comes with something quite unusual. My eyes bags get really swollen that I barely see well for about 3 days. It comes with catarrh and cough too. They say it was malaria and cold, I was always indoor with my friends helping me to get the things I needed.
It went on until 3rd level in the university. I started putting out my work as a graphic designer on X (formerly Twitter), I was passionate about it. I also learnt how to send cold dms to potential clients. I got one that replied me, sent her some of my designs and I got a deal. Within that week, power supply was not frequent and I have a rule, which is to always deliver before the deadline I give my clients.

So, during this period I walked everyday to a friend's hostel that had solar system. It was quite a distance from my hostel, I think about 25 minutes and I used to walk there and back to my hostel. I get so tired each time I come back to my hostel. This happened through out the week, I was beaten by the rain the last day I went there: super soaked. I got home and didn't get enough rest. I was so serious about my career at that time that I don't bother about my health ( I wasn't paying due attention to my routines).
The following week, I fell really sick with same symptoms. I couldn't go out for 3 days because of swollen eye bags. This was when it dawn on me that the only cause of this sickness was that I didn't allow myself to rest each time I ought to have. And, I remembered ever other time I fell sick, I didn't get enough rest.
Knowing this was a big revelation and deliverance for me. I also noticed that the swollen eyes were as a results of my unhealthy screen time on phone and PC, which I reduced drastically or rather wear glasses.
Since I knew this, I haven't fallen sick and it almost 2 years now. Once I am tired, I find time to rest very well. I do the needful exercises to stretch my back and joints each time I sit down for too long or did a stressful work.

I also barely take enough water everyday. I stopped that too,I take a lot of water ever since then, once I feel hydrated or a bit tired, I drink water first before thinking of any other solution. I take up to 2 litres of water a day when I am at home or a place where I could easily get and drink water.
These routine or new habits have helped me greatly with no possiblity of being sick. My faith also doesn't permit me to believe I ought to fall sick as long as I do every in my human capacity to stay healthy.
No more falling sick with swollen eye bags, itchy body (especially my scalp), endless catarrh and cough, sore throat, etc.
Our daily routines and habits contributes greatly to our health: they determine how healthy we are and will be as long as we keep those routines and habits.
