The Importance of Salary negotiation

What are factors we should consider when demanding our salary requirements? Aha I don't joke with this part when looking for a job,and am sure most of us don't,what are your requirements? Am curious to know.

We do all have different factors we consider when demanding our salary requirements but we still do have common factors like
1.transportation
2.Feeding

Of truth , why we mostly consider transportation first is because after working for a whole month and ending up spending almost everything on transportation is not fun at all. And if you are staying in places like Abuja in Nigeria you will understand my point, as residents over there will always say we are working for taxi drivers.

Feeding is important because if we don't eat how will we work? After spending almost all of our money on transportation, you don't have money to feed that another trouble. And sometimes the feeding is very expensive,then you decide to cook from home in that case you have to wake up earlier than unusual either ways we still have to consider feeding, the food we decide to cook from the house will also be bought just that cooking from the house is another way to lessen the expenses but the option can only be consider depending on time of resumption.

These are mostly the common factors we all consider when taking a job before considering any other factors.
When demanding for salary requirements I first of all consider my transportation,how much will I spend for transportation? How much will be left after transportation? Then I consider my feeding,how much will I spend on feeding? How much will be remaining?

After considering all this important things then I consider other things like savings,my basic needs like making of hair as a lady I need to look good, then my body cream because I really need to glow oh… then my toiletries, and I like going out after work for a whole month I gat give myself a treat is not easy oh. If you are living by yourself we are yet to talk about rent, water bill, electricity bill, medical bill, and many more bills like clothing, repairs and many more that we never plan for.

If after all this plus and minus the salary requirements are not up to our demands then we start to reconsider our decision to work with the organization, working and not saving like why am I even working? The actual aim is to earn a living,what is the essence of the job if the aim cannot be achieved? And in life problems we don't plan for will surface like someone called them, calls from family asking for financial assistance.

After Considering most of these factors because I believe we have many more to consider, then we make our salary requirements based on most of these factors. In that way we get to do a job that pays the bills, because that the aim,and it has to be achieved.
