A TOP NOTCH ENCOUNTER WITH THE MOON
When we talk about #astrology and space in general, these topics are always fascinating at the same time. So many people have always wished to find themselves outside the earth (#space) including me. I always wonder how life is outside the universe and what it looks like. When I hear people say that the sun is bigger than the Earth I see this statement as a fictional statement because the sun is just a tiny ball when I look at it up there in the sky.
The crazy one is the so-called stars or Milky Way, we are being told that the stars are actually gigantic in size and are four to five times bigger than the Earth but looking at them from my backyard, I do assume I could have a handful of the stars.
All these are mysteries that I’ve always pondered on in my mind and thoughts so therefore, having a time in space would be a dream come true but since it isn’t so possible, I choose not to include this into my bucket list.
How many of us here have luckily had the opportunity to visit the #moon? I bet it is very few less than 1% and almost none of the persons reading this post. But here, let me share with you the one time I almost touched the moon while standing right in my backyard.
I never would have known the power of lenses if I didn’t own a camera. I got to understand that with a good lens, you could see objects that are thousands of miles away from you with a decent amount of detailing. You may be wondering where I’m driving but here it is.
I stood in front of my house one evening and decided to point my 50x optical zoom on #Canon power -shot into the sky and see how the objects would appear. Luckily for me, there was a bright moon spotted in the sky and It drew my attention and fueled my curiosity to zoom into the moon. Honestly speaking for the first time in my entire life I got blown away by the result of what my lens could capture and here I’ll show you the step-by-step shots I took.

Here at the very first instance I captured the sky with the whole moon in it at a wide angle but didn’t achieve what I wanted so I decided to change my perspectives and shoot something different which was, zooming into the moon.
Here on this picture was a 10.3x zoom but still not detailed enough? I have 39.7 zooms left
This was around 40x zoom into the lens and at this point, I felt I was touching the skies already but that wasn't the end after all.

At this point I was already on the moon but without my Extravehicular Mobility Unit that is always worn by astronauts for protection and safety. It was the coolest thing I could ever imagine in my entire life, thanks to Canon.
In the final image there you can see how detailed and extravagant the moon was, I felt as if I had touched it with my hands.
Thank you so much for your time I believe you enjoyed looking at these pictures of the moon 😊 tell me what you feel about it and your encounter with the life in space as well.

interesting pictures! Seeing them reminds me why I love DSLR cameras and would love to get one, although they are very expensive 😅 indeed the last photo felt like the moon was just a few feet from you, fascinating
Haha, yes. Lenses are very good and I think they are worth their value anyways😊 that KS for stopping by
These are some very detailed pictures of the moon, great work!
