(ENG/SPA) Merlin of Gluttony: The Most Seductive Magician in Britannia, Sinful Review
Greetings Magical and full of Fantasy community of The Anime Realm because in this review I will focus on a magician who lives in an anime which can solidly fit into the Isekai genre for being a sorceress born from the Medieval inspiration told in Camelot but taken to the epicness of celestial creatures, demons, fairies and humans in Nanatsu No Taizai.
Merlin from The Gluttony is a mature woman in her way of behaving and viewing the scenarios that develop in the arcs of the anime, in physics is very contrary to that story in Camelot that has enchanted so much for centuries and how I applaud that decision by the author to remove those beards and old-fashioned old age to the legendary character of Merlin to turn her into a seductive magician wrapped in purple.
It is this type of characters that show me that a well-established Lore such as that of Britannia associated with Arthur's Round Table, can in later adaptations make extreme alterations in their characters such as a change of sex and still maintain the essence of what is to be represented in characters, this being the vital condition for the success of what is to be told and for the audience to like the nascent character.
Saludos Mágicos y llenos de Fantasía comunidad de The Anime Realm porque en esta reseña me enfocare en una maga que hace vida en un anime el cual sólidamente puede encajar en el genero Isekai por ser una hechicera que nace de la inspiración Medieval relatada en Camelot pero llevada a la epicidad de criaturas celestiales, demonios, hadas y humanos en Nanatsu No Taizai.
Merlin de La Glotonería es toda una mujer madura en su forma de comportarse y visionar los escenarios que se desarrollan en los arcos del anime, en físico es muy contraria a esa historia en Camelot que tanto ha encantado por siglos y como aplaudo esa decisión por parte del autor al quitarle esas barbas y vejez anticuadas al legendario personaje de Merlin para volverla toda una maga seductora envuelta en morado.
Son este tipo de personajes los que me demuestran que un Lore bien establecido como el de Britannia asociado a La Mesa Redonda de Arturo, puede en adaptaciones posteriores realizarse alteraciones extremas en sus personajes como el cambio de sexo y aun así mantener la esencia de lo que se quiere representar en personajes siendo esta la condición vital para el éxito de lo que se quiere contar y se logre que el personaje naciente guste a la audiencia.
The point I want to convey is that you can make radical changes in existing characters for an adaptation of a story but if that character is not liked, it is because the soul or essence of the character you are inspired by is not present in what is created and the audience perceives it.
On the other hand if you love it, WoW! it must be one of the best experiences as a writer or mangaka that you can have because that means that the audience loves your version of the character and it will show it as you can see in the video of an official artist channel on Youtube which is a Rap dedicated to Merlin the anime version of Nanatsu No Taizai.
I loved what I heard in the rap and it is noteworthy because if I'm not a fan of rap music genre but that song if I'm a fan haha, which added to the visual arrangement of images in Merlin is one of my favorite characters in all the anime, makes it a video that I see again and again.
If you don't know this version of Merlin, I invite you to listen to that Rap so you have a better idea of the character and you can watch the anime to know her because now we need to talk about the best she offered us in the story because she is not only beauty, Merlin brings moments of intensity to the story.
El punto que quiero transmitir es que tu puedes realizar cambios radicales en personajes ya existentes para una adaptación de una historia pero si ese personaje no gusta, es porque el alma o esencia del personaje en que te inspiras no esta presente en lo que se crea y la audiencia lo percibe.
En cambio si encanta, WoW! debe ser una de las mejores experiencias como escritor o mangaka que se pueden tener porque eso significa que la audiencia ama tu versión del personaje y lo demostrara así como lo pueden ver en el video de un canal de artista oficial en Youtube que es un Rap dedicado a Merlin la versión del anime Nanatsu No Taizai.
Me ha encantado lo que escuche en el rap y es de destacar porque en si no soy fanático del genero musical rap pero de esa canción si que soy fanático jaja, lo cual sumado al arreglo visual de imágenes en Merlin que es uno de mis personajes favoritos en todo el anime, hace que sea un video que veo una y otra vez.
Si no conoces a esta versión de Merlin, te invito a escuchar ese Rap para que tengas una mejor idea del personaje y te animes a ver el anime para conocerla porque ahora falta hablar de lo mejor que ella nos ofreció en la historia porque ella no es solo belleza, Merlin le aporta momentos de intensidad a la historia.

Merlin tiene uno de los mejores momentos de presentación en el anime y el autor lo sabe, en este caso si que supo ir armando la historia para que cuando Merlin se revelara ante la audiencia, se quedara en nuestra memoria por siempre y quienes me leen que han visto el anime lo saben porque justo en la imagen que les comparto pueden ver la sensualidad hecha personaje en La Pose de Merlin.
En esta reseña no puede faltar el comentar los atributos femeninos de Merlin, porque si que es hermosa en sus medidas jaja pero mas que lo anterior, lo que quiero resaltar es su outfit lo cual justamente resalta aun mas sus medidas y su femineidad de manera positiva.
El autor en ella considero elaboro el mejor vestuario, esa forma en que sus preciosos pechos quedan expuestos es muy llamativa del personaje, de hecho si no conoces esta versión de Merlin y estas hasta aquí leyéndome, estoy seguro es porque la miniatura llamo tu atención por lo atrevida en la propuesta estética y de vestuario en el personaje de Merlin para Nanatsu No Taizai.

As you can see in the Gif there is a very intimate and powerful story between these characters that I think in what I saw of the anime was not developed to the fullest, that is, the feelings are present but Merlin is so dry that contrasts completely with its visual, I had to wait an eternity of episodes of which many were already boring at the end of the story to finally see Escanor for a brief and deserved moment with Merlin.
I think the author exaggerated and did not take full advantage of the chemistry of these two characters, individually they are well presented but if they were missing many more moments between them, the deadly sins are seven and honestly the couple Ban and Elaine, the other couple Diane and King.... of these we had exaggeratedly enough, but Merlin almost nothing. I regret not having been able to see more time together or at least that's what I think, if for you it was good what you saw of them as a couple, you can tell me in comments.
To conclude I have noticed that the anime has been extended in following products and I am encouraged to see them because I noticed that they reveal more of this mysterious character with even much more to develop and how not to be so, if she represents the sin of Gluttony, I will never be satisfied to see more of her seductive body, she is one of my favorite characters and her story as the mage Merlin of gluttony was one of the best in Nanatsu No Taizai.
Es indudable que The Seven Deadly Sins exploto como historia a nivel mundial gracias al personaje de Escanor, la forma en que eleva la historia a otro nivel es increíble y es justo aquí donde entro en conflicto con el autor y con Merlin.
Como ven en el Gif hay una historia bastante intima y potente entre esos personajes que pienso en lo que vi del anime no se desarrollo al máximo, es decir, los sentimientos están presentes pero Merlin es tan seca que contrasta totalmente con su visual, tuve que esperar una eternidad de episodios de los cuales muchos ya eran aburridos al final de la historia para al fin ver a Escanor por un breve y merecido momento junto a Merlin.
Pienso el autor exagero y no aprovecho al máximo la química de estos dos personajes, de manera individual están bien planteados pero si que hicieron falta muchos mas momentos entre ellos, los pecados capitales son siete y sinceramente la pareja Ban y Elaine, la otra pareja Diane y King.... de estos tuvimos exageradamente de sobra, en cambio Merlin casi nada. Me da mucho pesar no haberlos podido ver mas tiempo juntos o al menos eso en mi caso es lo que pienso, si para ti estuvo bien lo que viste de ellos como pareja, puedes decírmelo en comentarios,
Para concluir he notado que el anime se ha extendido en siguientes productos y estoy animado de verlos porque note que revelan mas de este misterioso personaje con aun mucho mas para desarrollar y como no ser así, si ella representa el pecado de la Gula, nunca estaré satisfecho de ver mas de su seductor cuerpo, es de mis personajes favoritos y su historia como la maga Merlin de la glotonería fue de lo mejor en Nanatsu No Taizai.
