Funny and unforgettable experience

The day I'll never forget in my life as a student... I can't say if it's actually a funny one, though it's memorable because each time I remember that day, I'll just burst into laughter.

So, in my 200 level during the exams period, I used to go to night class to study with my classmates. This particular day, I went for night class as usual; we had an exam the next morning by 9 a.m. - biochemistry practical. I came back from night class around 7 a.m. that morning and got to my room. I was still doing some last-minute reading from my phone, so I sat on the bed still reading. Omo, I just said let me go through the notes for the last time before I go take my bath. People of God, I didn't know when I slept off. I slept to the extent that when my coursemate who lives in the same lodge with me came knocking, I wasn't aware of all the knocking. They even thought I'd left for school. They got to the exam venue and didn't see me; I was still enjoying my sleep. Until it was time for the exam, they started calling names for students to start entering the hall. They got to my name, and I was still sleeping. My friends were so worried because my lodge mate who knocked at my door had already told them that I'd left the house already. Omo, poor me was still in my room enjoying my sleep while my mates were already seated in the hall writing exams. The funny part is that I was actually taking my own exams in my dream like I was in the exam hall in my dream; everything seemed so real like nothing was happening. I just woke up to pee and checked the time; it's already past 10 a.m. That's when I realized that I'm finished at that point. I didn't even brush my teeth or take my bath; I just rushed out of the room like someone whose house is on fire 😂. I got to the junction and didn't see a keke. Omo, I was going mad at that point. Luckily, I saw one; I just quickly stopped and jumped into it. The driver wanted to slow down to look for more passengers; I just told him to go please, that I'll pay for the whole seat, that he should please be as fast as he could. We got to my department. I brought out 1k from my bag and gave the keke man; I couldn't even wait to collect my change. I just ran straight to the hall. In fact, the invigilator didn't want to allow me in, but with the look on my face, he knew something was really wrong. I didn't even talk much; he asked me to go in. Then I had just one hour left. I got a seat and my exam question paper. Luckily for me, the question was what I was familiar with. I just quickly wrote everything I knew before the time was up. After the exams, everyone wanted to know what really happened to me. I couldn't talk, ooo. I'd not even gotten myself together till the following day; I now summoned the courage to tell them about what happened. They laughed the hell out of me, and that's how I swore never to attend night class again.
