Why $1 Online Is Worth More Than You Think

If you are on Hive right now and you are earning at least one dollar on your post, count yourself lucky.
Okay, am I saying this only for Hive alone? But seriously, let's be honest with ourselves. If you are earning one dollar anywhere, be it on Hive or other places, I'm saying it again: count yourself lucky.
Do you know why?
Everyone wants to make $10k a month online. Earn six figures a year, work remotely and live the dream. Who doesn't want that? We all do!
But hold on. Let's come back to reality.
Do you know some people still do not even know how to make their first dollar online? These are people who scroll through social media, getting entertained by people who already are making their dollars just with their views and likes and they are there rolling on the floor with laughter, of course, this is good because everyone wants to be able to have fun, do something that makes them feel alive again. But worst of it is how they condemn most of their lifestyles.
Scratch that. I was one of them in the past but not again. Sadly, we still have many out there, like some of my offline friends, and if you try teaching them, they feel it's too difficult, and most of them are waiting to get rich overnight without actually doing something. They don't want to work but they will say, "Oh, I want this. I need that," especially when they see someone celebrating and showing off their dashboard with lots of accumulated dollars. They have zero experience, zero proof of concept and even zero confidence to actually start making money online.
That's why I say: forget $10k monthly. Aim for one dollar first. That one tiny insignificant dollar.
But guess what? With that first dollar, everything changes.
Some of you would ask, "Why is making one dollar first matter than hitting $10k every month?" That's a good question.
It's easy to dream big. But, I hope you know that saying, "One day, I will build my own thriving business," will not pay the bills? Dreaming doesn't do the work, action does.

Making your first dollar online isn't about the money, it serves as an affirmation that it's real. It is to confirm that you can write a post, publish it, someone reads it, upvote and then you get paid. It's proof that you can design an image, sell it and get someone to pay for it. This means that you are not just a consumer but a creator.
Just like starting on Hive, your first dollar can be hard to get. It might take you days but if you can make $1, you can make $10 and then $100 until you get to that $10k stage and beyond. Every old Hiver you have come across started from somewhere, and if you ask them how much they have earned so far, it's not something small today. They actually started from their first dollar, and as they continued, it kept multiplying.
They didn't do this just by staring at motivational posts but by stacking small wins.
Perhaps this post might be for the newbies who are just starting. Right now, I want you to do something, it's like challenging yourself. Make your first dollar in the next 48 hours. All you need right now is an action. You don’t have to be perfect. You don't have to create a website. In fact, you don't need a logo or a brand. Just start now. Take the step. Pick something, write about it, and then post it.
It's not about getting rich. It's about proving that what you do is worth something.
Mind you, this isn't limited to writing here on Hive. Do it elsewhere and see the magic. Once you make your first dollar, the next step becomes real.
Many people out there have been trained to believe that making money online is complicated. Let me shock you: making money online isn't that hard if you find the strategy. It's as simple as this - someone has a problem, you provide a solution and then they pay you for it. And that's how you earn your first dollar.
Let me tell you a short story before I round this up.
I started earning my first dollar some years back, and I was just a ghostwriter for my younger sister on a platform called Steemit. That idea opened my eyes to the world of opportunities, mostly making money online for doing what I enjoy doing. That was how earning in dollars got me where I am today.
The truth is, there are lots of opportunities in the digital space, and you have got to find what resonates with you and start somewhere.

Yeah, we all need to start small, and build from there. The exception being those who can afford to invest money.
Exactly. This is very right. Start small and keep building. Thank you for reading.
Also, making your first dollar opens up your mind to the possibilities that could be ahead of you in this space. I still remember vividly the first time I earned my first dollar online, I had a paradigm shift that changed my perspective on life, in general.
Exactly. It opens more new possibilities and you'd appreciate it more. I also remembered that time I saw that dollar sign next to my post, I screamed because it was unbelievable that what I wrote could earn me something.
This was one of the topics we discussed during our recent Hive meet up here. Every cent counts. Micro earning is the real deal.
It's not easy to make $1 online these days when there's a lot of competition going on. Anyone who does should celebrate 😅.
Yea, every cent count, leading to one dollar, then ten, and it continues like that. I have always believed in micro earnings, too.
Yea, that's why when you take that step and actually manage to make $1, just be happy and keep it going.
1$ yeah, I agree. In my last post, I made emphasis on something like this. Unfortunately if the money is not big enough, some people don't want to hang around for too long. If see way too many people leave because of that.
Actually, I referred someone to Hive last year and she only made her introduction post, only to come the next day asking me how she would get her money. She said she wanted to start making big money already. I just laughed and that was where she stopped. I just shake my head because people want the big pay first to inspire them but no, I don't call that inspiration because they will later stop if they aren't seeing such again.
There's no inspiration anywhere lol. That's why I don't do onboarding. If you can't inspire yourself to continue putting in the effort, day in day out, that person is never going to go far. Making only one introduction post and not continuing is quite disappointing.
Very disappointing and what concerns me. This is why I don't want to do any onboarding again but I still find myself bringing people just because I want them to see the opportunity out there.
Personally, I think the effort we put in, it's not everyone that can do that. Some of us have put it over 4 to 5 years. People out there want it fast, so they mostly won't adapt; rush in, rush out.
Exactly. That's just the fact.
I can understand it quite well. I think all of us encountered this situation the first time we made money online. My first online earnings were only 20 cents. It was nothing in terms of financial perspective, but it was the door to keeping food in the world of online earning.

That's it. We all have experienced such moment and now we see lots of opportunities out there for us.

If I see a platform to earn $1 daily, what am I waiting for...u count one before two right? I will rather do that than burn my data on social media daily laughing and rolling.. lolz 😂
Yes oo. Who wants to be burning data wasting money watching something that wouldn't fetch us money..omo..life has changed oo
