To Be Famous Or Not!!!

IMG_1332.jpeg

To be famous means to be recognised by many people, usually for something you have done, said or achieved. This is not about making a name for yourself or trying to win people’s hearts for what you have. You can be famous and not have wealth but your acts are remembered.

I have heard true stories of those who did not make wealth before they died, but were famous for the lives they inspired and impacted.

If, for some reason or another, I became famous today, I honestly would not see it as something bad, as long as it is for the right purpose. I am a kind of person who does not desire attention or want to be seen everywhere; I love to do things quietly.

Fame to me is not something to chase after; it is something that should come naturally and this comes from living a life of impact and purpose. If being famous will help me touch more lives, inspire people and bring souls to God’s kingdom, then it is something I would not hesitate to embrace with joy and humility.

If you’d agree with me, fame is not something evil; it is what one does with it that truly matters. As a child of God who is committed to following Jesus Christ, I know that if I ever become famous today, it must be to glorify God and not myself.

I do not want to be known for worldly things or temporary achievements, I want something beyond that - one whose life points others to God. I want my lifestyle to be a reflection of Christ. I want people to see Christ through my words and my work. That, to me would be the true essence of fame and being famous.

In a way, I sometimes feel that I am already famous within my small circle, that is, around my family, friends and the people who know me closely. They see me, they know what I stand for, and they can testify to who I am, and I do not pretend.

This is the kind of recognition that is enough to remind me that influence begins from home. So, if it ever extends beyond that and reaches a larger audience, my goal will remain the same - to make people see how important it is to live right and follow the true living with Christ. I do not need or desire a spotlight that makes me proud or makes me forget my source.

The truth is, being famous can be a test to one’s character. It can reveal someone's true nature and expose what is hidden in their heart, whether it is humility or pride.

I want a fame that isn’t noisy, yet meaningful - the one that speaks through impactful lives and not something that comes with noise or publicity. I love being quiet and living a simple life, but I also know that sometimes God chooses to raise certain voices so that other people may hear His message clearly.

If that eventually becomes something I am called for, then I’d gladly accept it with grace but would be careful so it does not consume me through pride or seeking material gains.

Above all, I do not want any form of recognition that will be a distraction from my purpose. Seeking earthly fame will fade away but godly influence lasts forever. I would not want to be the centre of attraction here, but I would let my lifestyle preach the message I live by.

If I ever become famous, it will not be about me but about what God is doing through me. This is the kind of fame worth having. The kind that draws people to glorify God and not to applaud me.

Fame looks enticing until one finds themselves in it and realizes that it comes at great cost. I like that you consider yourself already well known within your small circle and don't need outsiders' validation.

I like your point of view on fame not being evil and you would embrace if it gives you the platform to touch more lives to follow Gods word.
I on the other hand have always ran away from fame or attention cos of peoples constant opinions and lack of privacy.
