The Loyal & Strategic Rescuer

There are two people on my contact list that I will never call should anything go wrong, because it would be like I am wasting my time. They are my aunt and a female friend. I used to say that if something happened and I needed any of them urgently and in an emergency, they would never pick up their calls on the first try, and it used to annoy me, like, where did they put their cell phones every time? If I were told that I would receive a million naira if I were to choose a contact who would answer the phone on the first attempt, I wouldn't need to think twice, because I already know the right one to call.

There is a situation right now, and Princess has gone missing. She needs to call someone to come and rescue her from the hands of some dangerous beings. The only way I can escape is by finding someone, a fictional character, who would save me without getting hurt. Who would I call? Am I sure the person would do the job successfully? How well do I trust such a person with my life? Because I wouldn't want my life to be in much danger from these dreaded people.

If there is someone who'd be perfect for this role, it is none other than John Wick. I believe this guy isn't strange to many people. Wherever I see this guy featured in a movie, I know it won't be a boring time. His performance in movies is always top-notch, and I always applaud him for that.

John Wick is always popular in action thriller films. John Wick is a fictional character created by Derek Kolstad. Being a retired hitman is the reason I chose him, and one thing I admire about him is his loyalty in movies. He always delivers the best. John is always feared in the criminal underworld, and no one can conquer him. He has some strategic moves that amaze one, and he's never stopping until he meets his target.

John Wick doesn't need any gadgets or weapons to rescue me; with his connections, I am safe. All he needs is information. He has the skill of gathering information about the kidnappers' networks, has access to some underworld intelligence, and with his persistence, he will surely track them down. Just know that it won't take a few hours before anyone, even the big boys in the city where I am kidnapped to be aware of what is going on, and they'd know John Wick is looking for me.

Unlike others who would barge in recklessly for a rescue, no, John wouldn't do that. He has his tactics and studies patterns, layouts, rotations and the like, and guess what? He'd probably strike at night when my kidnappers are least ready - he will show up unexpectedly and to their utmost shock. He comes in silently. With silenced pistols, knives, and improvised weapons, name them, he uses them for his mission. Once John moves, it is over for them.

Watching several of John Wick's movies, one thing I love about him is how violence is always directed at the threat, never at the person he’s protecting, in this case, me. He’s careful. He’d defend me first, then eliminate the kidnappers.

John Wick wouldn't just rescue me and vanish; he would make sure I am hidden somewhere where I would become untouchable, and if anyone dares to touch me after that, he wouldn't hesitate to take them, too. My kidnappers are doomed, and there is no escaping for them. This is one person I would choose because he is loyal to the mission and won't stop persisting until he achieves his goal of rescuing me.
