Spaghetti Fritatta Gone Wrong!!!

The weekend came and it was absolutely one of the days I had fun. Whenever the weekend is approaching, I feel good and excited because it means I won't have to wake up early to prepare for work, and it's a time to sleep and stay in bed for as long as I want. Although, I still wake up early to observe my morning devotion, then go back to sleep if I wish to. But it's a weekend where I don't get to stress myself over anything other than to be in my room and eat as much as I can. It is why I love stocking my kitchen with the necessary stuff so I won't need to go out in search of whatever I want to eat.

On this weekend which was yesterday, it was time to break my fast and my mind had decided to make pancakes and enjoy myself with a chilled juice. While scrolling through my phone, I remembered asking AI what to prepare some time ago as I was feeling bored of making the same meal. The bot asked me to list the available ingredients in my kitchen which I did. Here is the list:

• Spaghetti
• Tomato paste
• Onions
• Crayfish
• Groundnut oil
• Seasoning cube
• Curry and thyme
• Dried grinded pepper
• Eggs

I got a result from AI and it suggested I make "Spaghetti Fritatta with Tomato-Onion Sauce" with instructions on how to prepare both. However, it added cheese as an option which I ignored and only wanted to use the available ingredients. I kept the list, and just yesterday, I thought to prepare it as I might not have the chance until another time. I shifted my pancake to the next day while I opted to make a new dish.

I stood up and was in action. Whistling and dancing in the kitchen, I got the necessary steps done. I told myself "This will work for Creative Sunday" in the Hive Learners community as it has been so long since I participated. I took the process seriously yesterday and started taking pictures and making my videos.

I was getting excited about the process and giggling, knowing I would be eating something sumptuous on a weekend. I'd fumbled to my sisters in our group chat that I would be making Spaghetti Fritatta, both of them said they hadn't heard of the meal before as they only knew yam Fritatta and egg Fritatta. I told them not to worry and that once I was done would send it to them alongside the process of making it. They were expecting me.

I already boiled my Spaghetti, drained it, and prepared my tomato-onion sauce as directed by AI. Still whistling in excitement until I got to the part to prepare the Spaghetti Fritatta. What AI forgot to tell me was the number of eggs to use. According to my friend, @abdul-qudus he said such a meal requires a lot of eggs, AI didn't tell me, I used 2 eggs for almost half of a pack of Spaghetti. I continued with it.

I mixed the drained spaghetti with the eggs together and spread them in the frying pan that has the oil heated up and on low heat. I waited for some minutes for it to turn golden brown so I could flip to the other side and repeat the same process.

You need to come and see me moving in a circle around the frying pan just to flip it. I used two big spoons just to make it firm. It was then I had tension and anxiety playing their game on me. "Won't this spaghetti fritatta turn to disaster like this?" I said with a fake smile just to encourage myself to continue.

All of a sudden, as I flipped the spaghetti, some parts had separated; I expected them to be firm together already but no, it indeed was as disastrous as I had thought.

As you can see, this is the GIF of the result of my version of Spaghetti Fritatta with Tomato-onion Sauce 🤣🤣🤣 I laughed uncontrollably at myself and saw the nonsense I did. I posted on my status and got some hilarious comments. One even said I made "Spaghetti Frinonsense 😃😃😃" that comment got me rolling on the floor. Others called it different names. Shouldn't I be corrected in love or at least they should give me positive criticism? Hahaha 😆

My sisters couldn't stop laughing in the group too and it made me happy making them laugh too. Even though the meal turned out to be nonsense, it made my day and a weekend to always remember. I couldn't finish the meal, only ate small and threw the rest away. I hate wasting food but I didn't have a choice on this. A Saturday to Remember indeed.
