Bonfire did not burn…
…and the rain started unexpectedly, and we couldn’t light up the bonfire to make our get-together more fun.

We had our youth get-together event today in the church. Although we stayed outside the church, so we could have more fun as we played different games together.
My sister taking the registration of the attendeesMy sister and I had left the house since morning to assist with cooking and preparing the event at the mission house. We finished cooking around 3:30pm and quickly went home to get prepared, as the program would begin by 4pm, even though we took off at 5 pm, with me taking the opening prayer.
Princess taking the opening prayerThe hymnal song was sung, and we moved on to playing fun games, some of which were starting a sentence alphabetically, which must align with the event; some were disqualified, and others won. Recharge cards (airtime) were called out randomly, and the lucky person won. One of us won thrice from the cards.

Another game was singing a gospel song. This was done in a way that five youths were picked as volunteers. The first person would sing a song, and the second would pick up from the last word of the song and must tally with his next song, and the order went on from there.

An hour later, the rain started falling, and we thought it would stop immediately, but it eventually fell so heavily that we all rushed inside the church while our bonfire couldn’t be lit.
I really did want to experience this for the first time but fortunately, our Reverend had promised we would experience it on Christmas Eve and by then, the sun would have dried the sticks.
We got back home around 8:30 pm and I thought to write this post, though I had something different in mind but there was no time, hence, making up with a random post talking about the event that happened today and how I couldn’t even have time to relax until now.
