Someone had to stop the nonsense

As humans, we are capable of doing some things even the ones people didn't expect us to do.

I am a very calm person but when I see rude people I always want to teach them a lesson just to make them see that they don't have to be rude to everyone they come across. Some people are calm not because they can't talk or rude but because they want to live a peaceful life with others.

When I was acquiring the hairdresser skills, there was this young lady beside my boss's shop. This lady is very rude to everyone including my boss but you know when you get to somewhere you have to be calm and see what they do there before you start to mingle with them. I do not want to mingle with them because sometimes everyone in that area acts funny and I wouldn't want anything to make me lose focus on what I went there to do.

One day this particular lady was shouting at one of my seniors, she sent the girl a message and the girl refused to go. I was the last apprentice there and we were about 15 in number, my boss didn't know what to say to the lady so she called her apprentice and warned her never to go near the lady's shop again, immediately when the lady heard that she started shouting at my boss, calling her all sorts of names and the elders around the area came to calm my boss down because she was just a young girl who was fortunate to own a big shop. For her not to be disrespectful, my boss went out of the shop so that she wouldn't talk back at the lady since the lady was older than her.

I was there watching everything in the corner I always sat and didn't interfere. One day, this lady wanted to fill a form and she couldn't spell some words so she came to me, I helped her out, and while I was filling the form I saw her age and I realized that I was older than her but still, I kept my cool. A month after she began her rude attitude again while my boss wasn't around, I was plaiting hair for one of my seniors and none of us answered her while she was shouting.

Some minutes later she entered our shop and mentioned my name, "I heard you are the one that told your seniors never to answer me again, don't you know you are stupid for doing that?" She said to me and still I didn't act as if someone was talking to me but deep within me, I felt like punching her face.

She noticed I was ignoring her so she pushed me, I fell and stood then asked, "What is your problem?" All my seniors were just teenagers and every one of them was scared that the lady would beat them up. She never allowed me to land before she launched a slap on my face. I smiled and then punched her on her face, before she could get herself back I beat her up mercilessly.

I told all my seniors to stay outside and then I beat her up in the shop without anyone in the neighborhood knowing what was going on, she was the one who ran outside to get a broken bottle and that was when people knew we were fighting, I didn't move an inch from the shop but I made sure I took a weapon as well, I was holding a scissors in case she entered back.

The old lady who came to talk to my boss quickly gave her wrapper to cover her body since I had torn her clothes apart, my seniors began to laugh and some other kids in the area that she had been rude to, I called my boss to explained and she said, "If she entered the shop again beat her again, I am on my way to shop," immediately my boss gave me go ahead I went outside with a scissors in my hand and everyone was surprised that I could beat someone up so badly.

"Aunty Esther how did you manage to be calm when you can fight this much," a lady asked me and I couldn't answer anyone because the anger in me just wanted to fight but the lady never moved closer to me she was just shouting from a far distance while I sat in front of our shop with scissors smiling while I was boiling inside.

Sometimes you have to retaliate if not some people will take you for granted and disrespect you for being calm and quiet.

My boss came and everyone explained while I didn't bother because I had called her already, she was just a girl so to let people see that she was my boss she said, "Aunty Esther please apologize to Aunty Ay," I laughed and then replied to her, "I am sorry boss I can't, I don't have sorry in my dictionary and that was why I am always calm so that I won't offend anyone," people around couldn't believe I can be that bold even in the presence of my boss, the lady left our shop angrily because I didn't apologize. Later after she left my boss praised me and said, "I have been looking for a way to pursue her and stay away from her thank God you came to learn from me," I could feel her happiness within her as
she said that.

The next day, this particular lady came to apologize to me and I was like, "I am not angry but if you pass your boundaries again I will have to beat you again," I said to her in the presence of people standing to see if I would apologize as well then enter our shop.

Since that day, she started respecting my boss she never passed her boundaries because she knew that my calmness didn't mean that I was stupid.

Fighting is "not my thing" but I wanted to teach the girl a lesson that you don't have to be rude to people before they can respect you, I wanted her to respect my boss and yes after beating her up mercilessly she did respect my boss including me.
