My offline friendship

Having a long-lasting friendship is not what most people are lucky to have because as we all grow, we have so many things to deal with, and thinking of keeping a friend can be hard for someone who is trying to find their balance in life.

Regardless of whatever is happening in our life, I don't think it should warrant neglecting good friends. Trying to keep up with them might be a burden in some situations but if truly we value their friendship, we can always work things out.

As a matter of fact, there might be help they can render but because of the gap we have created, they won't know what we are going through.

How I go about finding new friends

I love having new friends and because of that, I am always open-minded to everyone that comes my way. I make one friend lately about two weeks ago, I was in the church and a girl sat beside me and she was busy pressing her phone so I just looked at her with a smile on my face and then told her to be attentive for that moment.

She smiled at me back and stopped being busy with her phone immediately but when the choir started singing she move closer to me and thank me for correcting her then I replied, "It's nothing, it is the right thing to do" She smiles again.

I love the way she was just smiling at everything because some ladies would have looked at me with a bad eye for correcting them but she didn't so I asked her if I can get her number and she said, "Yes" Ever since then I always say hi to her in WhatsApp and she will reply me back.

That was how we became close and anytime I didn't see her in the church I always message her to know why, she told me she was not a church type but because I am going she will be following me. Isn't that a miracle lol don't mind me. And when I didn't go as well she always message me to ask why as well so it's not a one side friendship.

How I create a last friendship in the offline

There is no other way to create a long-lasting than keeping constant communication which I always did and calling to check up on my friends is what makes them want to be my friend. I am also a good listener to them, though I have my shortcomings too but listening and giving my friends good advice is what helps me keep them for a long time. Dropping inspirational messages for them is what I love because that might help them in their personal life.

All these are what I do to keep my beautiful friends longer with me because even in a relationship if there is no consistent communication, the relationship might end up crashing so to avoid that I keep my friends close by checking up on them.
