Can incentive curb population growth?

Children are blessings from God; we all know that, but too much of everything, they say, is bad, and that includes too many children as well, which is causing overpopulation all over the world.

In my country, most people do not see the need to give birth to few children, even the educated people, so for that reason, providing incentives for those with few children now will only give them the opportunity to give birth to more children because some people with two or three kids can see the incentive as an opportunity to train their children.

I never said it’s a bad idea if the government can or wants to provide incentives to those people that have few children, but come to think of it, some people here in my country are capable of hiding their children just to collect the incentive to feed their many children.

Meanwhile, giving people money to encourage them not to have too many kids is never a way forward because it is people with plenty of children who need help.

The idea of giving incentives to certain families for having few kids can not help the situation of my country; it will only cause chaos because I still know some families who will do anything to get the incentive, even if it is to deny their kids, hide them, or give them to people to look after just to collect the incentive.

There was a time a young man felt like helping people in his city, and there was another woman who also had the power to contribute to the help, so they collided together and rented an open field where they would share foodstuffs, money, and so many other things, but they made announcements that it was for only children.

The event was supposed to take place by 10am in the morning, but people have already been there since 5-6am, rushing inside the field gate. Meanwhile, it is said that the field wasn’t that big and it can only contain a certain amount of children.

By the time the security guards got there by 6:30 am with the mindset of stopping adults from coming in, there were too many people inside already, both adults and children. The security guards couldn’t control the crowd anymore, and that led to death for some children because there was rushing, and the adults were stepping on children, pushing themselves here and there.

The man and the woman was blamed for trying to help people because it was a festive season, they were arrested for the death of those children, according to the news, now imagine if it was government that organized such thing that means the who country would rush down there, both old and young people since everyone wants to benefit from government at all cost.

I am not even sure if the census of my country is correct because people that did it back then didn’t reach our area, so how can they verify if the family truly has few children? That is why such a thing can never be possible here in my country.
