No Electronics Around Here
No Electronics Here read the sign on the wooden gate. It felt at first sight like a warning. Who dares to disconnect in a world dominated by flashing screens and never-stopping alerts?
Inside that silent area, however, was something rare: clarity.
No booming phones. No flicker-inducing routers. No television Electronics that court for attention noise. Only talks and ctual chuckle. The noise of pages turning. The beat of human contact.
Initially guests were uneasy. Their hands searched for forbidden equipment. Still, something changed in a few hours. Ideas came more naturally.
Creativity resurged. Eye contact grew credibility. Silence started to be profitable instead of awkward.
In commerce as well as in life, we frequently confuse connection for connectivity. True influence, however, comes when diversion is eliminated.
The biggest invention is occasionally turning away from invention itself.
Because the mind brightens when the screens turn dark. Shalom
