Sesión de juegos de mesa #40 // Board games session #40
Una nueva sesión de juego, donde pude probar un juego nuevo. Detallo:
A new gaming session, where I was able to try a new game. I detail:
Boonlake
El juego con una temática demasiado genérica, para darnos un euro clásico en donde los puntos se encontrarán en todos lados. En cada turno iremos avanzando nuestro barco, según el tipo de acción que escojamos. Entre las acciones se encuentran, jugar cartas, explorar territorios, poner personajes o mejorarlos, poner vacas, robar cartas, etc.
The game with a too generic theme, to give us a classic euro where the points will be found everywhere. In each turn we will advance our ship, depending on the type of action we choose. Among the actions are playing cards, exploring territories, placing characters or improving them, placing cows, drawing cards, etc.
Si bien las ideas son buenas y hay muchos tipos de estrategia, tiene una falla con la duración, ya que al ser de partida larga, ver los resultados de una estrategia demora demasiado. Por otro lado, el no tener una buena temática le resta puntos. Sin embargo, creo que debo probarlo una vez más para concluir mi apreciación.
Although the ideas are good and there are many types of strategy, it has a flaw with the duration, since it is a long game, it takes too long to see the results of a strategy. On the other hand, not having a good theme detracts points. However, I think I have to try it once more to conclude my assessment.
Ark Nova
Un juego que ya he jugado en varias ocasiones, en donde los jugadores tratan de desarrollar el mejor zoológico, su puntuación de 2 tipos y la gran cantidad de cartas, lo hace un juego único y bastante entretenido.
A game that I have already played several times, where players try to develop the best zoo, its score of 2 types and the large number of cards, makes it a unique and quite entertaining game.
Considero que es mi juego de mesa favorito de los últimos años.
I consider it my favorite board game of the last years.
Furnace
Juego corto de 4 rondas, donde iremos comprando fábricas para desarrollar diversos productos, reutilizarlos y al final obtener dinero, que serán los puntos finales del juego. Si bien es corto, tiene su estrategia, y una asimetría inicial le da suficiente variedad para probarlo varias veces.
Short game of 4 rounds, where we will buy factories to develop different products, reuse them and at the end obtain money, which will be the final points of the game. Although it is short, it has its strategy, and an initial asymmetry gives it enough variety to try it several times.
Con ese juego final cerramos la sesión. Fueron pocos juego pero duró mucho tiempo.
With that final game we closed the session. It was only a few games but it lasted a long time.
