Walt Disney Animation Studios siempre es recordada por sus grandes títulos clásicos, desde La Cenicienta hasta el Rey León; sin embargo en las últimas décadas, pocos títulos han logrado conectar con muchos públicos. Eso cambió cuando estrenó Zootopia, una historia de múltiples animales viviendo en una gran ciudad, pues atrapó a muchas personas, al punto que esta segunda entrega ha roto varios récords y sea uno de los films más vistos del 2025. Walt Disney Animation Studios is always remembered for its great classic titles, from Cinderella to The Lion King; however, in recent decades, few titles have managed to connect with many audiences. That changed when Zootopia was released, a story of multiple animals living in a big city, as it captivated many people, to the point that this second installment has broken several records and is one of the most watched films of 2025. Sinopsis: Luego de los eventos de la primera película, Judy y Nick siguen trabajando en la policía como equipo; sin embargo, llegan a un punto de crisis por sus excesos. A su vez, conectando pistas darán con unos grandes misterios, el del exilio de los reptiles y cómo se fundó Zootopia.
Synopsis: After the events of the first film, Judy and Nick continue to work as a team in the police force; however, they reach a crisis point due to their excesses. At the same time, by connecting clues, they will uncover some great mysteries, such as the exile of the reptiles and how Zootopia was founded.
El transformar al dúo principal en policías que investigan y atrapan, le da mucho juego a esta franquicia, confirmando ya una tercera parte. En esta ocasión, tras unos primeros casos, chocan con una pista que lo conectará con nuevos personajes como Nibbles, una cástor y Gary, una serpiente. Se dará paso a explicar por qué los reptiles se encuentran exiliados de la ciudad, y por qué los Lynxley, una familia de linces, domina Zootopia.
Transforming the main duo into police officers who investigate and catch criminals gives this franchise a lot of scope, with a third installment already confirmed. This time, after a few initial cases, they come across a clue that will connect them to new characters such as Nibbles, a beaver, and Gary, a snake. This will lead to an explanation of why the reptiles are exiled from the city and why the Lynxleys, a family of lynxes, rule Zootopia.
Entre los temas tocados, está la relación un tanto tóxica entre Judy y Nick, pues al no sincerarse entre ellos, produce una gran cantidad de malentendidos y problemas. El tono principal es cómico, pero sí que tiene sus giros y en especial una gran escena dramática, casi al final de la película.
Among the themes touched upon is the somewhat toxic relationship between Judy and Nick, as their failure to be honest with each other leads to a great deal of misunderstanding and problems. The main tone is comical, but there are twists and turns, and in particular a great dramatic scene near the end of the film.
Es un título bastante dinámico, la cantidad de sucesos y escenas de acción es un sin parar, metiendo una gran cantidad de chistes en medio. Aunque puede parecer excesivo, de alguna manera acaba casi siempre en un buen resultado. Otro punto bueno es la variedad de referencias a películas conocidas.
It's a pretty dynamic title, with a non-stop stream of events and action scenes, interspersed with lots of jokes. Although it may seem excessive, somehow it almost always ends up working well. Another good point is the variety of references to well-known movies.
Como siempre la animación es excelente, logrando cotas más altas. La música también es buena, pero en lo personal creo que le falta un soundtrack más distintivo o adictivo.
As always, the animation is excellent, reaching new heights. The music is also good, but personally I think it lacks a more distinctive or addictive soundtrack.
Si te gusta la primera parte, no te debes perder este segundo capítulo. Yo ya espero el tercero.
