Sinopsis: En un pueblo al norte de Francia, Eddy Bellegueule es un niño que se siente diferente a los demás, pues tiene modos y manierismos femeninos. Es una novela autobiográfica que muestra la desdicha que tiene que sufrir un niño y adolescente, por ser diferente a lo esperado y que muestra una orientación homosexual. Se muestra como en mucho de lo que duró su vida en el pueblo, trató de ajustarse a lo que esperan de él, al punto que intenta creérselo.

It is an autobiographical novel that shows the misery suffered by a child and teenager for being different from what is expected and for showing homosexual tendencies. Es un libro corto, menos de 200 páginas, y fácil de leer. Me parece un excelente título, por ser un testimonio crudo pero auténtico del autor, y que busca de alguna manera expulsar los demonios de su pasado.

It is a short book, less than 200 pages, and easy to read. I think it is an excellent title, as it is a raw but authentic testimony from the author, who seeks in some way to exorcise the demons of his past.
