Four Years of This Crap Has Been More Than Enough
Ever since the 2020 election, we’ve had to put up with whining Trumpists and their stolen (or “STOLLEN” as Trump repeatedly said) election crap. Never mind that fifty different judges ruled against them, they just trotted out the same bogus claims again, and again, and again.
And since Tuesday’s election, it’s all started up again, but this time from Harris supporters.
Mostly because the numbers from the popular vote totals are significantly lower for 2024 than they were for 2020. Something like 15 million fewer votes.
Just a small sampling of what I’ve seen on Twitter:

I’ve seen all kinds of anecdotal evidence reported, often about mail-in ballots not having been recorded in Pennsylvania or Michigan. And, sure, every Presidential election is going to have some irregularities/discrepencies. But, realistically, how often are those discrepancies, in the aggregate, going to change the outcome?
It’s easy to point to real (or imagined) voting irregularities that might have shifted things one way or the other in a small election. A mistake or even blatant corruption by an election judge in one precinct might change the result in the race for a state representative. But to alter the results on a national scale would require a deep-reaching conspiracy.
As bogus as the Trumpist canard about 2020 was, the nascent claims about 2024 are also suspect. Several of the swing states that ended up in Trump’s column have Democratic Secretaries of State and/or Governors. Were they somehow part of a scheme to fraudulently install Trump in the White House?
Mehdi Hasan has a reality check for these questions:

Harris lost the election but there are many plausible reasons for it that have nothing to do with election fraud. It may just be that Trump’s version of fascism is more popular than a lot of people want to believe. Or millions of people were simply more comfortable filling in an oval for a demented narcissistic adjudicated rapist than for an intelligent Black woman. There are many more simple straightforward reasons for the election results other than the complexities that would be needed for a stolen election.
We’ve had to listen to bogus Trumpist canards about 2020 for four long years. I for one am in no mood to put up with another four years of assertions that the 2024 election was stolen. Just because Trumpists whined for years doesn’t mean that the center-left should follow suit.

2020 was an anomaly, 2024 follows the mean turnout from the previous years.
I read somewhere voting by mail being made easy because of Covid was the reason for the 2020 anomaly.
It's still a huge anomaly, and while staying home may in-fact activate some to vote via mail, it may also passivate others to not vote at all. I don't find it feasible for the voter-base to suddenly bloat 20% just because of the ability to vote by mail. (We get a lot of gallops and other stuff via mail, that we never even open.) Also, shouldn't it reflect in the walk-in votes too? There should be a negative correlation, because currently, it looks like there's almost as many extra walk-ins as there were mail-in voters. The mail-ins should have eaten away participation from the walk-ins, at least a bit.
To me it looks like the actual voter-base suddenly got a lot bigger for one Election only.
I have the luxury of being far enough away to do anything about it and close enough that I have to inhale the stench for 4 years.
I am embarrassed for my American friends who were so personally desperate that the better choice for them is a snake oil salesman of abhorrent character.
Not that I think virtue-signalling leftists are the solution either but we are all in this hot tub and someone just had a big orange shit.
So many of us compared the two choices.
2016-2020 - good prices on food, commodities, fuel, NO WARS, massive exposure on how deep the corruption of the government goes for regular everyday people, wages were in good shape, families were stable, people were happy. Ignore the buffoons in the massive hellscape urban centers like LA, Portland, NYC. Those are NOT representative of America. A few mean words? Big deal.
Harris and crew - massive spike in prices of everything; food, fuel, commodities, housing, rent, supplies, wood, everything. Vaccine mandates, absolute intentional and coordinated destruction of the economy over a common cold, threatening people a "winter of suffering and death for those who refuse to get [experimentally] vaccinated [it is gene therapy, not a vaccine at all, it is experimental and it was an abysmal failure for years in animal trials prior to getting forced into hundreds of millions of people]", Lawfare in the courts to viciously attack their political opponent, encouraging permanent and irreversible damage to children and untold psychological damage for this trans butchery of the most innocent of the species, the list goes on.
For the simple fact alone that they fucked with the children so forcibly and without a single fucking care in the world - that is front and center why SO many people are completely against the psychos in charge right now. This for a mental illness that affects 1-2% of the population at most and make the 95% or more suffer? We can't give kids tattoos, but we can cut their dicks off, cut their tits off and give them medication that completely destroys their body in ways that they will NEVER recover from?
Adults can do whatever they want in the privacy of their own home but DO NOT come after the fucking kids.
There are so many reasons that the vast majority of everyday Americans had enough with the bullshit and gave him a second try. We did WELL when he was president before.
Never mind the fact that the people didn’t even vote Harris as their nominee- she was that dog shit of a candidate. If “democracy” was so important, why not have a snap-election? That is a routine occurrence across the country. This is one of the most confusing parts about the whole Harris situation. She was not at all put in there democratically, but that seems to get swept under the rug.

We are trying to get us back to being AMERICANS. Not left, right, republican, democrat, progressive. We aren’t dividing each other the way the people pulling the strings on the left (Soros and crew) are spending so much time and energy on. We are trying to put the bullshit aside, getting people back to understand we are so much more alike than we are different. We want to work, have families, support our neighbors, have good communities.
The group in right now, and the Obama before him are so hell-bent on dividing people because it’s so much easier to control and manipulate them. We need to end that shit otherwise we will get destroyed and will lose this amazing country.
We need to get back to laws, civic duties, respect and working hard. That’s what we saw in trump before, didn’t see at all in Harris, and hope to have again with him.
This ended up being way longer than I thought hahaha sorry dude
Nah that's good! Get it out! ;)
The fact you are pinning any of that on 1 or 2 people shows that they are succeeding in dividing you and blaming the other colour. I am fed up with the left as much as I am the right and we are no better just north of you.
You had a dogs breakfast to choose from and so will we in the next couple years.
Rule by force is the disease, who and how are symptoms.™
I have a gut feeling that something is amiss about the 2020 election.
The data will reveal the issue eventually if anyone wants to look.
No, I'm not a trumper as I voted for RFKjr, I just like to go where truth takes me.
"but there are many plausible reasons" one of them being that enough people recognized that she is not qualified for presidency? 😅 she could never touch on any of her policies, I'm still not entirely sure what they are, answered that interview question with, "We both know what I'm talking about, Brett 😏" "no sorry, I'm afraid I don't, could you please answer the question?"
Or, as you said, maybe people got sick of the effects from the country being run by a dementia patient for the last 4 years... Nothing wrong with change!
It’s all distractions at the end of the day. Just more things to get the particular side riled up about.
I think Rogan says it best - “there’s never NO election fraud.. it’s just how much is the question”. Some of it is minor, some of it is significant but it’s always there.
At the end of the day it’s just more division and fuel to get people to bicker. When people bicker and argue with each other over shit like this they don’t band together, put aside their differences and work together to make both their perspectives stronger and improve their communities.
I would just like to ask you - don’t be so feverishly upset or angry that he won that you completely shut out the possibility he could do great things. I think that’s the biggest loss - always looking for the next evil deed instead of trying to see what he does good and what he does bad.
I didn’t like the current group at all but I will give it to them that they did make this process a lot cleaner than I thought they would. There weren’t riots and using the courts the way many people thought they did.
I think we need to take what we’ve learned the past few years - the division agenda is SO strong, and reject it. You and I disagree politically it would certainly seem but I encourage you to share your perspective so I can improve mine. You and I are a lot closer than we ever would be to Trump or Elon so we need to work together much more because we have closer experiences than we ever would to them.
How did I miss this blog????
Thank you for the sanity. I've been in recovery for the last few days. I'm finally getting ready to write about this. My blog will not be incendiary. It will not be accusatory. It will be an exercise for me to work out the way this came to be.
In my case, history will be the guide. Can we not learn from history? I think so.
I enjoyed reading this so much. It was a tonic.
