A Little Sleepover
Few days ago, I got reminded what it feels like having someone around all the time that I can talk to, joke with and basically just have fun with that person. This is something I haven't done in a while, at least not for two days straight and it felt good.

A close friend of mine had paid me a visit three days ago, he had earlier requested to spend a few days at my place and I had happily agreed. Apparently, he had to leave his place because his roommate was inviting some of his own friends over and they have this understanding where one of them has to either cope or leave the house for the other person if they have company.
So rather than inconvenience his roommate, he decided to take that moment to pay me a visit and spend some time at my place, and trust me when I say that that was arguably one of the best things that happened to me last week.
Unlike every other day where I get to do boring stuff and probably not say a word all morning until later in the evening when everyone is back from work, I found myself having a really good time with my friend and it just reminded about back in the day when I used to have a roommate and was almost never bored.
It made me realize how boring my days have always been and for a minute there, I found myself wishing I had a roommate again, but I quickly came back to my senses because in as much as its fun to have a friend around and all that, there are also times when I'm glad it's just me at home. I guess just like every other thing, these things has its pros and cons, but for those few days he was around, it was all pros for me, or maybe I've lived alone for too long that I couldn't see the cons even if I tried.
Sadly for me, he had to return back home early this morning, and just like that, I was thrown back into this boring life of life. But him coming around has given me this idea where I could uod maybe hist my friends every now and then fir two days, and we all just hangout and have fun.
I have no doubt that I would have the most fun when it happens.

STOPIf you get a roommate having similar or close to your mentality like yours, you will enjoy it. Friends always make us feel good and the same thing happened with you but as far as I know you, I feel you may feel bad if he stayed more than a week as you love to be alone.
Finding a roommate that has similar mentality with me is where the problem is (although I honestly don't need a roommate at all). And yeah, I know for a fact that if he had stayed up to a week, I would have been tired of him being around.
This is why two to three days is best.
