Tour of Our Minecraft World – Part 2

Hello and welcome back to my blog!

I shared the progress we made in our Minecraft world. It was mostly her, but I like to take some credit for helping build a couple of buildings at the start. You can see the beautiful house she created that I shared in this post.

In this post, I will share some more interesting buildings. Let's start with a creative project, the Greenhouse Garden.

As you might expect, the walls and ceilings are mostly made out of glass blocks. However, the front side and entrance feature some interesting opaque blocks. I liked the use of oxidised copper in the front entrance.

This just has a one-sided entrance for now, I would prefer a little secret entrance on the side. Maybe if I have some spare time, I can come up with a little Redstone circuit to do it.

Oh, and don't forget to greet the cat who is guarding the entrance peacefully. She's been busy and sitting there for days now. Such a nice kitty.

The ground floor of this nursery has multiple flower beds. She is growing sunflowers, carrots, etc.

The first floor has potatoes and some beautiful flowers that I saw for the first time. Not sure when these were added to Minecraft.

And the best part is they are hanging from the ceiling! It looks so cool. Such a creative use of those chains.

She used Wither roses as well. They are pretty rare and dropped by mobs killed by a Wither.

But things don't end here, this garden has one more level. It has wheat growing there. More importantly, there are flowers attached to the ceiling and some lanterns to provide ample light here. Those flowers give off an effect of falling petals, and it looks cool.

Let's move on to another place now. A huge pen where she likes to capture and keep so many animals.

Look at this chaos!

There are a lot of mobs here, including llamas, sheep, cows, donkeys and even 'mooshrom' cows.

Just on the side of this pen, there is another area, this one is a bit more cramped and vertical. It houses two of the cutest mobs in the game, pandas and bees!

But it seems like some pandas are not enjoying this weird habitat, and you can see them crying. It is natural to do that in Minecraft, I don't know. Maybe they are missing a jungle biome or some more open space to move around?

This place looks beautiful at night, mostly because of the glow berries that look like lights we put on the Diwali festival. These glow berries are found in dark caves, and I love the excessive use of these to light up the surrounding area, so it needs fewer wooden torches.

I admit that some houses do need a little bit more lighting, especially on the outside. Looks like this place is still under construction. But I still did not encounter any monsters at night here, so the ambient lights were enough to prevent any zombie spawn here.

Look, how peaceful these villagers sleep, knowing they don't have any zombies around.

One more thing that I forgot to show you last time were these details on the Japanese-themed house. Look at the windows, how beautiful they look. The clever use of a hanging banner to make it look like those windows are open and can shut down. Love those details.

I am so happy how this world turned out to be. It feels like not long ago when we were looking for a place to settle, and we found this plains biome to create a temporary base. Now, this has been converted to a beautiful place full of life and mobs living happily (except some pandas maybe lol).

It's amazing how a few creative minds can make a blocky game look this good.

Thanks for reading.

Until next shot...

Honestly, it takes a lot of time to build things like this in Minecraft. It's not possible to build these things without time because I also play Minecraft and I know how long it takes to build a build. It's really amazing. I really like it.
