Stunning Landscapes in theHunter: Call of the Wild.

Hello and Welcome back to my blog!

This Week's Contest theme by the Gaming Photography Community is Stunning Landscapes which is perfect for me as I love to take landscape shots both in real and virtual life.

theHunter: Call of the Wild is one of the most beautiful games I played simply because of the variety of landscapes it offers. There are multiple maps based on a variety of landscapes from the real world in this game. For example, the Crimson Valley from Alaska. I would love to go and visit this place once in my life. For now, I can just visit it through this video game.

Just look at the red grass in this valley. It looks absolutely gorgeous under the morning sun. Sometimes, it snows here and this place gets covered with white snow which changes the landscape drastically.

Talking about the snow, there are a couple of maps in the game which offer stunning snowy landscapes. I love snow and I go to Medvad Tiaga to find it.

This map is always covered with Snow while some maps occasionally get covered, especially parts in lower regions of the map. One of the recent map additions to this game is the Nepal map and it is one of the most beautiful maps in the game. Let me share some of the shots from here.

I feel like home roaming around this map. You will find some of the mustard fields right outside the outposts.

There are a lot of beautiful flowers in the wild growing everywhere. You will find yourself surrounded by the majestic Himalayan range. I love the landscapes and terrain on this map. It is a bit difficult to traverse these hilly regions but it is totally worth it.

There are a lot of water bodies in the game. These prove to be hotspots of animal activity. You can find a lot of lakes in almost all the reserves while some have rivers and coasts.

These locations are even beautiful around sunrises and sunsets.

I talked about the Yukon Valley reserve already and it has a large river and you would find Bears running around while you enjoy the views and sometimes snowfalls.

I have seen some good skies in games and this game also has one of the best simulated skies which is dynamic and looks incredibly real. I know making the sky look real is not too hard for modern games but with the dynamic weather and clouds, it looks even better.

Look at this sky during the sunset in Vurhongha Savannah.

I love to hunt here as the plains are so open and wide and give good views and fewer places for animals to hide. These are in stark contrast to some of the hilly and forested maps we have but it has its own advantage and gets a bit easier.

Can you see how much of a difference is it in comparison to a map like Silver Ridge Peaks? Both are beautiful in their sense.

Another map with wide open areas is the Emerald Coast, Australia and is one of the most famous maps not just because of the landscape but also because of the high density of animals and a variety of animal species to hunt.

There are a lot of shots I take from this game when I play it. Even though it doesn't have any Photo Mode, just a camera option which lets you take photos of your first-person view. I wish they could add a dedicated photo mode and allow it to change the time of the day on the fly.

That's it from this post. Let me know which shot you liked the most.

Thanks for reading...

Until next shot...

Very good photographic work. Through your captures you can see the weather changes within that game. Good luck in the weekly contest.
