My first 'Pantheons of the Artist' run in Hollow Knight
Hello and Welcome back to my blog!
Godhome is a hidden place in Hollow Knight accessed by defeating a monster and using the dream nail on them. In this secret area, you will find a lot of bosses to fight against. This serves as a good place to kill all the bosses again that you encountered during the playthrough. There are statues with each boss with varying degrees of difficulty. I have talked more about this in my previous post where I defeated two bosses on the hardest difficulty level.
There is also an interesting section where you can take down one boss after the other. These are called Pantheons and there are three different ones, all with unique bosses. You have to kill all the bosses one after the other with just a few rooms where you can heal or rest on a bench.
In the Pantheons of the Artist, there are 10 bosses to fight and defeat. There are just two other non-combat rooms in between, one with the bench and the other with the Godseeker with some dialogues.
I will share the entire run of this Pantheon which I recorded and uploaded to my YouTube channel. I added a few comments with some of the bosses.
The first one is the Xero. It floats and hovers over you and throws the needles at you. The number of needles increases as it takes more damage. It wasn't difficult at all but took me more time than I expected. I didn't use enough abilities.
Crystal Guardian comes next, he is one of the simplest and easiest. Just dodge some lasers and time your jump well. That's all you have to do in this one.
The only ones that gave me a tough time are the Oblobbles. These guys shoot that orange bullet thingy and when both of them do it at the same time, it gets difficult to dodge. Fortunately, they are easier to kill if you focus on one at a time.
Nosk, the spider was easier to kill once you know the trick to hide close to the edge of the platform. The spider runs fast but you can jump over it and save yourself from damage. You can even hit it with the downward nail when it is running under you. It spits out poisonous blobs which got me a couple of times.
The Flukeworm is one of the tougher bosses in the game but it didn't feel difficult today. Well, I was using the unbreakable Strength charm as well with the maximum nail upgrade, maybe that's why it was not a difficult battle. It spews out baby worms that fly and come at you. They usually come in pairs and are not too difficult to take down. The only thing that should be kept in mind is to avoid the water as our knight won't strike when floating on the water.
The Paintmaster Sheo is the final boss. He uses paint as a weapon and I love this concept. This is naturally, a very colourful fight and I think it is called Pantheons of the Artist for this very reason. I might be completely wrong too. Anyways, after you defeat the Paintmaster Sheo, you will see an animation and the game will display your total time on the screen.
My time was just over 9 mins. If I practice more and use more abilities in my gameplay I can cut this time to a few minutes easily.
Also, you can run this Pantheon with additional constraints called Bindings. There are four bindings in each of the Pantheon.
Shell reduces the health down to 4 masks.
Nail reduces the nail damage.
Soul reduces the soul container so you can only hold 1 heal/spell at a time and removes extra orbs.
Charm disables the use of charms.
You can run any combination of these constraints. This makes it more challenging. I can try a couple of them at the same time. But clearing the Pantheons with all the bindings enabled will be a very tough challenge. I will try and practice more. This will take a very long time for sure.

I see it's a boss fight compilation. I liked the fact that all the bosses are giant when your character is so tiny yet more powerful.
I have such fond memories of this game but I never got good enough to complete these boss runs. I do remember how frustrating the Flukeworm could be as it would regularly knock you off the platform. I don't remember the strategy that I used with that guy. Such as fantastic game HK is. One of the best ever made.
Pravesh Hi! Hollow Knight is a great game, I discovered it much later, I played another dark fantasy title: Blasphemous. So I still need to try this one, I would like to do it before the sequel called Silk Song comes out. Best regards.

I had gone back to play and finish all of Hollow Knight and I have this DLC and Grim's company DLC left, I'm letting time pass and enjoy other games before I go back to enjoy this expensive game again. I'm even a little sad to think that I'm running out of content but well there is also the possibility to replay it and add mods.
I have no doubt that you will improve your time and you'll be encouraged to try even more difficult challenges.
