Hunting for the Perfect Shot!

Hello and welcome back to my blog!

It has been a long time since I shared some of the shots that I took on my hunting sessions in theHunter: Call of the Wild. This game's ultra-realistic graphics have no match for any simulation game I have ever played. These maps are beautifully crafted with different biomes and hunting spots based on the real-life locations on which the different maps are based.

One of the first maps you get as free with the basic game is the Layton Lake District. I have played a lot on this map, and it features some cool places.

There are a lot of forests in it, like most maps in the game. I love to capture shots of random trees I find interesting. And there is no shortage of that in this map.

The weather system in this game is very volatile, and it can change quickly. Predicting what will happen just five minutes after a point in terms of weather is not easy. I like extreme weather, a very foggy one or overcast with clouds ready to burst any time. Because of this dynamic weather system, these maps still feel fresh.

Talking about Lakes here, there are plenty of beautiful ones. I love to take pictures of these.

Playing the game without any HUD elements is even more interesting. It is a good way to increase the realism even more and, to a good extent, the difficulty of the game.

While Layton Lakes always feels calm and without much danger, most maps are not like that. Many of them have dangerous animals to hunt. Like the Emerald Coast reserve, which has deadly Saltwater Crocodiles. Once in a while, they get me and especially when you are playing with no HUD elements, and they can blend well with the surroundings, it can get tricky.

But as they say, humans are at the top of the food chain, so I showed them their place.

The views here are amazing too. So many weird trees that I have never seen in my life are on this map. The ones with the wiggly branches and some with huge trunks are in a forest. There is a lot of diversity in this map in terms of animals, too.

An old-time favourite map of mine is the Silver Ridge Peaks. I spent a lot of hours on this map killing Black Bears and Bisons. A relatively easy map, too, so I used this to get some achievements and grind XP levels. It is one of the most beautiful maps in the game, too. I know beauty is subjective, but I love how there are big mountains, massive lakes, open wide grass fields and dense forests. Almost everything that you can ask for from a hunting map.

I have set up some hunting stands and camps near these lakes to quickly switch between them. This increases my hunting efficiency.

This is a DLC map too, and I think it was the first DLC map I bought after playing in it for a while in an online multiplayer session. I like the fact that you can play these maps without owning them in multiplayer mode, given that you find host servers for them. Usually, the least popular maps are harder to find, but most of them can be found there.

I am just noticing how similar these two lakes look in size. But they are far away from each other.

One of the best shots I took in this map is the following.

You can see a dead Bison in the foreground while a group of them is running away from some perceived danger. And the layer of the trees behind them, with the bright white clouds in the sky, makes it so rich in detail.

Maybe the shot lacks a clearly defined subject, but I liked how so much is happening in a single shot.

I will leave you all with a couple more shots of this beautiful map. rediscovered the place shown above after a long time. It was such a precious moment to see it again. I love those white flowers on the ground.

Let me know which map you like the most among the three different ones I showed you today. You already know my pick, I guess.

Thanks for reading.

Until next shot...

The photos are amazing! The way you captured the beauty of nature so beautifully, especially the way you captured the colors and shadows of the environment, is truly commendable.
